I hope 'Wild Ones' climbs to number 1. Flo's songs tend to do that a lot lately (climb to their peaks), and I like it when songs climb as it feels like we watch something rise in popularity and are following it's chart life.

Also doing very well on pre-orders is Alyssa Reid (#87) - released in the dead week between Lana and will.i.am so unfortunately could be a #1, especially now it has Radio 1 support :( Hot Right Now is #100 on pre-orders.

I'd be really happy if Alyssa got to #1, but I can't see it happening unfortunately.

Also, I played Alone Again to my mate the other day and she asked me whether she was British - I said she was from Seyetana  instead of Canada. True story! :D (BJSC participants will understand :P)

I really don't think Alone Again will get even top 10, likely top 20 though. I'd love to be proved wrong however, even if the P Reign version is better than the Jump Smokers one we're getting!

I've made that mistake too, I showed my friend HyunA and instead of saying she was Korean, I said she was Unovian, and he was like 'huh?'!

WOW! :D

Would love if it Alone Again got to #1, it could happen. The main reason I'm so surprised about all this is that Alone Again is a year old and she hasn't had any success outside Canada, so it feels quite random that it's being released over here. It only got to #11 in Canada though, but stranger things have happened. The fact that it samples a classic should probably help it, and I suspect that's the reason it's doing so well on pre-orders, because people already sort of know it.

And Get Out Of My Head is alright, would be nice to see that become a hit. But would especially love to see Wild Ones score Flo Rida another #1.

If 'Titanium' went to #1, would that mark the first time ever a French/Australian collaboration topped the UK Singles Chart?

Florence & The Machine performing on Jonathan Ross tonight, i'm assuming the new single No Light, No Light?

Where is it at the moment? Probably give it a good boost, more so the album i'm assuming.

Next To Me, Emeli Sande's new single should do really well. A lot better then Daddy, i think she's tried to adopt the Rolling in the Deep vibe, should do well, video out on Wednesday, i'm guessing its out a week before the album? (which is a dead cert for #1 (the album) i think).
Mama Do The Hump  #2 :cheer:

:D A top 4 of SHM, Rizzle Kicks, David Guetta and Jessie J (albeit not in that order) would be brilliant.

All pre-orders in the top 200:

51. Antidote (Remixes) [swedish House Mafia vs. Knife Party] - Swedish House Mafia & Knife Party

57. Born to Die - Lana Del Rey

60. Our Version of Events - Emeli Sandé

87. Alone Again (feat. Jump Smokers) - Alyssa Reid

93. Born to Die (Deluxe Version) - Lana Del Rey

100. Hot Right Now (feat. Rita Ora) - EP - DJ Fresh

153. Get Out My Head - EP - Redlight

168. Twilight (Remixes) - EP - Cover Drive

179. A Flash Flood Of Colour (Deluxe Version) - Enter Shikari

'Get Out My Head' to be a surprise hit? Released a week tomorrow (same day as Born To Die).

Enter Shikari's album could challenge for #1 next week I reckon, their singles always go quite high on iTunes just from their fanbase so a fanbase-driven #1 album with VERY low sales might not be out of the question - it'll probably need about 30k at the absolute maximum, maybe even closer to 20k. Their last album only got #16 but The Maccabees' last album missed the top 10 as well and they're challengers for #1 tomorrow.

Enter Shikari are the only thing that can stop one of the old guard staying at #1 (or returning to #1 if The Maccabees somehow hold on tomorrow). I doubt they'll challenge given that "Common Dreads" only made #16 after the lead single got well into the top 40, but given that their début made #4 and spent a month in the top 40 all the way back in 2007 then it makes CD's floppage look like an anomaly.

I'd quite like to have an album stay at #1 for a couple of weeks really given that Lana Del Rey is bound to make it in a fortnight and this run of one-weekers is NOT a good way to start the year. Same with the singles were it not for the fact that I really like "Antidote" and "Born To Die" and would like to see both acts have a #1.

Its going to be fun not knowing who is going to be #1 till Weds 4pm officially. if its a 2 horse race.
UGH. I was hoping that david guetta would overtake rizzle kicks before they'd climb. they'd better not get to number 1. :(
Mama Do The Hump  #2 :cheer:

Good for them, I hope they have a shot at No 1 they need one that does not involve Olly Murs.

Incorrect. All their singles from now on should feature Olly Murs. MDTH is appalling :(

THIIIIIIIIIIIIIS.

I swear if this beats the likes of Antidote and especially Titanium to number 1 I will cut a bitch :(

RK have no chance of #1, they're miles behind Jessie. Is Flo Rida back at #2 or has by feed reverted?

oh god THIS.

I loved both of their other singles, but I just don't get 'mama do the hump' one bit. it's really nothingy, especially in the chorus which is horrible. the video is also just so very unfunny as well. it's literally just them and beyonce in the top 10 that I don't like now.

I think the video is a large part of Mama Do the Hump's success (that along with people finding the song catchy :D). It's so original, and always makes you smile. :)
