JME's target audience is pretty far removed from BuzzJack though  I'm sure Eric will be cheering it on whenever he comes online.

Too right I am!! :cheer:

I've not actually heard the song yet though, but, let's face it, it'll probably be awesome. I'm surprised it's so high! :o I haven't been in Twitter for a long time, so I'm completely out of the loop with these things atm. :drama:

Not a new release but:

201. Hold On (feat. Sampha) - SBTRKT  Really hope this can make the top 100 at some point.

A bit upsetting to see Take Care down to #22. It was just outside the top 10 like a week ago or something. I guess the only hope of it getting back in the top 10 is when it gets the music video, and it could be quite a long wait for that!

LMFAO  #12

Kelly C  #13

Good Lord I feel sick :puke:

Hope Kelly C can get in the top 10 before SHM get there though. (and preferably be at number 9 just before they knock out a song to go top 10)

Don't you be comparing Gaga to Kylie :P Besides, Body Language is a better album than BTW :kink:

ALL her albums are better than BTW

Sexy And I Know It is having great longevity - today will be its 16th week in the top 20. (Of course today will also be the 12th week top 20 for Earthquake and Paradise, the 13th for Lego House, the 15th for We Found Love and the, erm, 22nd for Moves Like Jagger - quite a lot of long-runners around!)

Ugh, LMFAO are so annoying. How can people still WANT to buy it? It was funny for like a week, and then it got old, plus it's been all over the music channels since October! Surely it doesn't take three months to decide if you want to buy a song or not?

Poor 'The One That Got Away'. :( Really living up to it's name!

Im quite disappointed for Florence and the Machine with this album. Its just as good as the first but is underachieving quite badly. Its not flopping because its gone number one and sold 400,000 but still, It might just scrape 600,000 and that will be it :(

Nonsense, it will still be selling in december with a 5th single release! It will break a million i would say!

Surely it doesn't take three months to decide if you want to buy a song or not?

If you're questioning that then surely Moves Like Jagger is even more questionable - it's been around in the chart longer, had far more airplay, sold a lot more and yet is HIGHER than LMFAO :drama:

But in any case, whatever it is that makes people put off these purchases for so long, it's obviously a legitimate thing as it's been shown countless times that people will still be buying massive hits in big numbers a LONG time after their release.

New entries in the top 40 that we could see this week are: M83, One Direction, Professor Green (if he stays 59p), Wiz Dogg, Pitbull (GME why is this so high, I only just noticed, WTF?), Skrillex, Cher Lloyd and Swedish House Mafia.

Chasing Cars?

It was used on Take Me Out, which i guess might explain its climb... (I watch way too much TV :kink:)

Ugh, they're using GME on Dancing On Ice later so it's only gonna go higher :(

Give Me Everything is so high because it's 59p. Same for Beautiful People, Bounce and I Need A Dollar :P

The thing with JME is that he interacts with his Twitter followers constantly so i think they really like him and buy his music add to that you have people like Tinie Tempah, Tinchy Stryder, Skepta etc all retweeting telling people to buy the single, and its 79p
Anyone know where Hang It Up is?! I doubt it's even in the Top.500 as buzzjack is the only place I knew it was being released today, Ting Tings have barely mentioned it's release on twitter -_- sad cause it's a decent song and The Ting Tings need a good comeback but I think that scrapping their Hands album was a mistake now it's been too long and people have forgotten them :(

Thanks guys! :D Looks like it genuinely could re-enter the top 40 then, especially if it's still got a further Dancing On Ice boost to come.

I love how people are 'urgh'ing at JME when they don't even know who is (to the point of spelling his name wrong) the Skepta association will probably help him along the way.

Anyway a song with the lyric "I don't own a Blackberry, ask for my pin and get slapped heavy" is alright with me!

If you're referring to the people saying GME, they're referring to Pitbull (I hope!).

I just listened to the song now. It's so true about the Blackberrys though. Everybody just assumes every UK/London rapper has one, so for the few that don't, it must be EXTREMELY annoying with everybody assuming that they do.

Yeah, he's big on Twitter. That's what I meant with my comment about being out of the loop due to not using Twitter recently. It's nice that the artists promote each other like that. I think it'll be very frontloaded, as I doubt anybody outside of his fanbase will buy it unfortunately, but it'll be fantastic if it can chart top 75 this week.
