What is "most ill-informed entry" again? Is it the song which was unlucky enough to miss out on winning/doing as well as it should have due to there being an obvious runaway winner?

For me ill-informed is something that would clearly NEVER do well in this contest and has usually lived up to that prediction by finishing easy last in its semi. Uninspired it something that may or may not have done well, which obviously had no thought put into it (i.e. a leak by a popular artist etc...)

 

Ill-Informed is more "WTF was that song doing in BJSC", uninspired is more "oh, great, a song that's already been splattered across half of the world's music blags and spent five weeks between #41 and #47 on the chart".

I've sent my votes for BJSC Awards 2011. Will be interesting to see what the shortlists for each category look like before the final voting begins.

Reckon a few of the entries for Best Entry will end up on Most Overrated too :lol:

Dalisska never seem to be an unlucky nation for me, sure they aren't one of the more successful nations but I've always thought of them as one of the countries with 'middling success' a la Tinnmark.

Interesting point. :o I can only assume 'Riverside' grew on people who were taking part in BJSC earlier on in the year, as well as appealling to those who entered later in the year.

 

Riverside in BJSC XXXIII = 157 pts

Riverside in BJSC TBO = 118 pts

Well it's basically the opposite of being so close to winning. It's unlucky because it was involved in the most crushing victory of 2011 - so far off winning despite finishing second.
