Ooh - nice to see a fake version of "Part of Me" so high up already! It's nowhere near becoming my favourite song of the Teenage Dream era, but I really hope Katy can score another top 10 (and possibly top three/#1) hit with it once it's released; does anybody know when the UK release date actually is anyway? :)
Heard Hangover out tonight. I expect that fake version to rocket up from now on! Hangover will be much bigger than Troublemaker! :o
Hangover is really horrendous. So it's a smash. But I swear it's been around for like forever?
Whatever happened to Taio Cruz? I swear he was quite good around 2007/8, I loved "Moving On" and "Take Me Back" and now he just seems to make music for the lowest denominator *sigh*

I loved Come On Girl and She's Like A Star too but he just totally went downhill in the desperate chase for a hit. Ugh.

Why is Journey - Don't Stop Believin' randomly is the top 100 again?

It's not even reduced or anything?

The pilot of Glee was shown this morning on e4 which is the episode they covered that song in, but surely that's not why?

I think Christina Perri is performing Jar of Hearts on Graham Norton tonight, so no doubt that will rise again.

So sad that she's resigned herself to being a one-hit wonder.

That doesn't apply, as 'A Thousand Years' has also been a hit.

He was. :D

I thought 'Come On Girl' was a great track back in 2007. I admit to having a soft spot for 'Dynamite' but I was genuinely quite surprised to see 'Break Your Heart' get to #1 in America. We can blame Taio becoming a faux-American for the quality of his musical output since 2010.

It was released around midnight I think, maybe a little earlier. It's also not an official single before anyone says, it's the next promo single.

Yeah. I like Nicki, but she'd never be daring enough to release a song like that as an actual single.

Break Your Heart going to #1 in the US wasn't that surprising. Generic dance-pop songs always do well in the US. Rolling in the Deep was a bit more surprising. I thought it would do quite well, but not well enough to be the 2nd most-downloaded song ever.

I really liked 'Dynamite', the production is very rich and catchy. 'Higher' was good as a follow-up too. But the new era is a complete facepalm. That said, I played 'Troublemaker' a lot.
Hangover is getting released on a Monday I think, so it might miss #1 (or if it's really huge it could get #1 anyway in 6 days, or last long enough to climb to #1 on its 2nd week).
To be honest, I don't know why 'Hangover' wasn't just released first to co-incide with its success across Europe. It's been #1 in countries like Austria, Luxembourg and Switzerland as well as top 5 in several other countries.

How come E4 still show old episodes of Glee, even though Sky1 broadcast the latest episodes?! :o Have they shown any of series two recently/at all?

It's in the trailer for a new film - I can't remember what it's called though.

Don't Stop Believin' was played on Benidorm last night :P
