Can someone please explain what's so special about this track by Madeon? Not saying it's bad, I just watched the video on YouTube out of curiosity and it's basically 'Me & You' by Nero without vocals - and a different melody. :P

From what I gather, the only thing special about it is that the producer of the track is seventeen.

I hope Skyscraper can get top 20 :)

Skyscraper should easily outpeak This Is Me it got to #33 in September 2008 didn't it cos of Camp Rock? It should be her 3rd Top40 Hit as 'La La Land' got to #35 in May 2009 didn't it?

Yep, it should definitely be her highest peaking single. This Is Me was 33 and La La Land 35 (plus Remember December got to 80 and another Joe Jonas duet for Camp Rock 2 called Wouldn't Change A Thing got to 71).

Used on DOI:

Queen - Don't Stop Me Now (Matthew Wolfenden)

Kelly Clarkson - What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger) (Chemmy Alcott)

Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse Of The Heart  (Jennifer Ellison)

Oasis - Don't Look Back In Anger (Andy Whyment)

The Killers - Human (Sam Nixon)

Evanescence - Bring Me To Life    (Jorgie Porter) - I can hear Bray cheering from here :D

Billy Idol - Mony Mony (Chico)

what an amazing selection of songs used this week  (bar Chico's which I don't think I've heard :P )

Although it gets over-exposed every year thanks to the X Factor, my favourite song out of the DOI songs would be Total Eclipse of the Heart.

Mony Mony is one of the textbook examples of a song that everyone knows, but doesn't know what it's called or who it's by. For your benefit:

Bring Me To Life is in my top 40 songs ever, that would be my favourite  It just happens my favourite skater used it too! Also love the other two I gave 'wubs' to of course.

 17. Ray Charles - Chiddy Bang

 43. What Can You Do for Me (Utah Saints vs. Drumsound & Bassline Smith) [Radio Edit] - Utah Saints & Drumsound & Bassline Smith

 48. Twenty Seven Million - Matt Redman & LZ7

Chiddy Bang could still make the top 10, they've not done as well as I thought they might though :( Come on Utah Saints, please get in the top 40. Does the Matt Redman/LZ7 song have a Facebook campaign behind it like the other LZ7 song? Or is it just doing really well for some other reason?

 73. Human - The Killers

YES! So great to see this back in the top 100. Get there officially please.

 74. Bring Me to Life - Evanescence

Not you. Go away. (This is going to give iTunes another excuse to reduce it again isn't it :drama:)

 107. Don't Look Back In Anger - Oasis

 Love this as well.

 109. Total Eclipse of the Heart (Single Version) - Bonnie Tyler

This is okay.

I'm starting to think Dappy wont get #1 afterall, the gap between Gotye is huge, and Gotye has 2 versions
Your Collective responses have eased my worst fears on the Dappy front! Give yourselves a pat on the back :D

sure enough, I actually think I have heard that before  thanks, its pretty good!

Wow, go Kelly, up from 30% to 40% (+33%) thanks to Dancing on Ice

Not to mention the top 10 effect and its 59p reduction should really help it sustain its boost

It's an appeal single to raise awareness of child slavery in the world.

I'd love it if Kelly somehow got a new peak. :D 'Stronger' is HUGE in the US (it looks like it's returning to #1 again this week) and i'd love it to be the same here. Her album looks like it'll fail to go anywhere near platinum so i'd love a massive selling single in Stronger to make up for it. :D

Its the same facebook campaign that took Delirious? to the top 5 some years ago, over some Christian track
