3 weeks is hardly a "long staying" #1 hit. Even Party Rock Anthem was #1 for longer than that.

 

It's 2012. :D Three weeks at no. 1 is a "long stayer" these days. I'd even consider a 2 week no. 1 as a long stayer these days the charts are that fast paced. Too many one week wonders and I'm all :zzz:

 

Come on Azealia Banks. :w00t: Saw the video this morning on one of the music channels. Heavily edited but if it helps sell the song then who cares. :D

The Digital EP for '212' is released on March 18 - so hopefully it'll have picked up by then. Irritating though, as on occasions, the Radio 1 DJs have been saying 'That was Azealia Banks, out March 18th' - potentially preventing people from browsing on iTunes for it.

'Lonely Boy' peaked at #80 and 'Gold On The Ceiling' is currently at #63 on iTunes - it'll no doubt debut at #90-something come Sunday and could well outpeak the lead single permitting it's kept at 59p. It also has the benefit of having just been moved up to the B-list (?) for Radio 1. Hoping it can push the album into the top 15 now though.

Is Glee's 'Without You' 59p? Hence why it's still so high on iTunes?

I think Nicki Minaj could well have a chance at #1 maybe even next week if the video for 'Starships' is released.

 

As for Marcus Collins, maybe I'll be proved wrong but I just don't see his cover of 'Seven Nation Army' going to #1. His album, yes because of its timing with Mothers Day but as for the single? Nah...

Starships and Turn Me On both could've been Ke$ha songs aswell lol.
