Pretty boring week on the whole but the addition of the fantastic new Plan B song alone makes this a great update :w00t: Also Jay-Z and Kanye moving up to the A-List.

The Plan B song is called 'ill Manors' by the way, not 'Ill Manners'.

Mariah Carey feat. Joe & Nas - Thank God I Found You (Make It Last Remix)

I'm surprised they playlisted the Make It Last remix!! :o :o Rightly so though, it's so much better than the original. It's absolutely gorgeous.

So many other songs I love on that playlist too. What a Girl Wants, Say My Name, Still D.R.E, Never Be the Same Again, Thong Song...

It's strange how with James Morrison they've playlisted One Life after snubbing Slave To The Music. Or was STTM not released as a single in the end?
Hooray For Earth - No Love :o

Dandy* entered this into Unknown Pleasures last year. :D

Indeed I did!

I was not expecting to see it on a Radio 1 playlist anytime soon though. :o

Azealia C-list  Boring week otherwise, quite slow. I feel like I should be annoyed with Emeli being knocked off already but they A-listed Next To Me like 50 million years before its release so I guess it could only ever last so long post-release.

Arctic Monkeys, Azealia Banks, Chris Brown and Plan B = yay!

Shame to see Emeli Sande and Jessie J getting the boot - but both will undoubtedly continue to sell well, their airplay is still great off the back of other radio stations and video airplay for both seems to have risen in the past few weeks.

No it wasn't released, they switched to One Life

ill Manors is awful. Lyrics are unimaginative and the music is drab. Such as same that he didnt follow Strickland Banks influences. Seems like it will flop like the 1st album did chartwise

I'd hardly say the lyrics are unimaginative. They're certainly alot deeper and more original than "put your hands in the air" and "i'm partying all night".

Yeah, the album probably will flop but he's not really aiming for the mainstream with this release. It's just the soundtrack to the movie of the same name (which he wrote and directed). I'm sure he'll go back down the Strickland Bank path in a few years again.

Cracking update this week - great additions to the alist for maccabees,jay-z/kanye & michael kiwinuka - songs that without radio 1 wouldnt have a chanceof doing well!

Plan b beung added is amazing also - when is the single out - is it OA/OS?I know the albums not out until 7th may....so single must be mid april with 8 weeks upfront playu?

Yeah they gave it 7 weeks upfront play so they remove it quick enough but all the other stations are playing it flat out now anyway!

Great to see Hooray For Earth's "No Love" playlisted and Ben Howard on the A-list! I charted "Wolves" in 2011 but it's great to see it getting a well deserved re-release. The best single on the album IMO.

The EP is listed as a 25th March release on iTunes.
