Ugh. 3 12's a couple of 8's and a couple of low pointers, and I STILL don't qualify! :drama: (Thanks to those who did vote for me though :D) Just 5 points from qualification too! Grr. I seem to have dropped the ball a little. :lol: Don't worry I will be back with a vengeance though. I'm sure. :P

Oh no! :( I am incredibly gutted about this DNQ as I really love 'Invincible' :cry: I thought more people would like it too, as for me it's one of the best and biggest pop songs I've ever sent to this contest! Ooh :(

 

That's a shame for both Caerfyrddia and Greenfroze, which would have got points from me had I been in Semi 1. Not so lucky for Freeze after he switched to this from his original Icelandic language track which I was really intrigued in hearing. Maybe next month? :o Persephonia's track is good too though so I can't complain.

 

I think I'm keeping that icelandic track for a bit longer as it's a bit too close to the sound of 'Invincible'. It's not similar, but it's too close to be classified as something different. If I find anything, I am going to try to send something a bit more indie again to the next contest!

 

I think Freeze just felt like having more qualifiers than usual last contest, 14 is the norm AFAIK.

 

I wanted to have one more qualifier through from each semi because so many countries took part.

I'm very surprised I've qualified! I've realised that my entry isn't THAT good and could be more climactic, I just looned over it for a few days. Still, I consider it better than most of the entries to this contest.

 

I'm so so glad Persephonia qualified, too. That would've been ridiculous if not.

I'm not one to be bitter so I won't moan, but DNQ'ing over some of the rubbish that went through annoys me a bit :/ Ah well I'll live, onto the next contest and at least most of my favourites went through!

oh wow, I was honestly not expecting to qualify there over some of those big names! :o :cheer: particularly as its my first contest here and I opened on odds of 70/1 to win :lol: of course I'm not expecting a great result for the final, but thanks everyone who voted! :D

 

as for the rest of qualifiers, most of the tracks I liked made it through with a couple I was a bit indifferent too (I'm afraid I couldn't stand Budtar's entry though, sorry Jack! :( ) particularly glad for Juranabaijan & Kluminican Republic, I thought they were touch and go qualifiers :D gutted for Ojnoj and Mdice though, two of my high pointers! shame about Espen as well, I think I should've given it higher points :(
