JLS now 28

Katy now 29

After the month long stillness of the chart next week should actually be quite a good battle

It's interesting now, but it's quite possible in 24 hours it's going to be very obvious who'll be #1. Or maybe not. We could do with a good battle for #1. It's been boring with Gotye having a 40% lead for the past month. :drama:

Agreed

Whilst I really like STIUTK, it will be slightly annoying if none of Katy, JLS or Labrinth can knock him off - imagine this time tomorrow if Gotye is still number 1 :D

I will be tearing my hair out.

So, STIUTK could actually be off iTunes #1 tomorrow - how long as it been #1 on iTunes for now?

It reclaimed #1 from DJ Fresh on the Friday or the Saturday IIRC, so it's been #1 for 29 or 30 days (+ some time before that as well).

Could well be weird seeing it not #1 then! Do you still do a thread with all the iTunes #1?

Is there any particular reason why all the new songs have been released an hour early?

That must be so annoying for them if it happened, since they'd end up with all their pre-orders in the previous week's chart (I think?).

Has that actually happened?

Maybe iTunes thought clocks go forward tonight and have got their Saturdays the wrong way round. :D

Yeah. They must have been confused! Haha

I don't have a thread but I have an archive of the positions at 8pm (or 9pm on one day where I forgot to do it at 8). I recently cleared this archive and started again, so it currently only goes back to 26/02/2012. Needless to say Gotye has been #1 on all 21 of those updates.

Regarding the new releases coming out an hour early, I think this happened the last time the clocks changed as well so it must be linked to that :P

Time to bring out my crystal ball

Katy Perry - Part of Me - 1

JLS - Proud - 2

Labrinth - Last Time - 5

Sean Paul - She Doesn't Mind - 9

Angel ft. Wretch 32 - Go In, Go Hard - 28

Maybe new entries from Chris Rene and Lethal Bizzle in the Top 100?

Sean Paul - she doesn't mind

number 63?

it's not even 1:00 am yet lol

Preorders of singles not eligible for the albums chart nearly always debut high on the singles chart. :o I suspect the other 3 will overtake She Doesn't Mind (Proud, Part Of Me & Last Time), though all should make the Top 10 and Sean's is my favourite of the 4!

So this could be the final night Gotye is itunes no1 then(unless it rises at the end of the week).....its been a pleasure!!
