Why's this You Me At Six song doing so well? I assume it's a new B-Side of some description?

It's just a promotional track for a new ride at Thrope Park or something like that I read.

New Releases

6. Part of Me - Katy Perry

10. She Doesn't Mind - Sean Paul

13. Proud - JLS

14. Last Time - Labrinth

66. The Swarm - You Me At Six

89. Go In, Go Hard - Angel

It's nice to see a legend like Sean Paul back in the top 10, but this is one of his worst singles imo.
Surely that's only down to Katy overtaking her? SHM and Nicki were already ahead of her (the latter only recently).

In regards to next week's number one, I would actually prefer Gotye to stay at the summit. I'd rather have a long-running number one than a crap generic song replace it (and yes that applies to all of the new entries although it would be hilarious if Sean Paul managed to get to #1).

Yes, I understand that.

I saw her at #7 in the morning and came back to find she was #9.

It was a bit of a shock. But I hope she can remain in Top 10 next week.

Aren't albums usually released on a Monday (for some strange reason)?

Could be a free track from iTunes  dunno, I thought they had a new album coming out soon, its not on the release schedule now.

Hmm, I looked it up and 'The Swarm' is just a new single. No idea why they're putting out a new single just as they've started the campaign for 'No One Does It Better' but there you go

Liam said that it's a promotional track for a new ride at Thrope Park. Sounds rather random.

Anyway, it looks like we could have four debuts in the top 5 - maybe even an all-new top 4 for the first time since 2006? :o
elephant should be lowered to 79p :(

Even if it was reduced to 9p, it wouldn't help the song that much.

JLS will still be number 1 next sunday guranteed

By whom? :P

Yeah 'Elephant' needs to be reduced to 59p. Even if it gives the song only one more week in the top 10. It would look better than a 4-17 fall.
 75. The Swarm - You Me At Six

I presumed it was a B-Side, but the one that is 59p at the moment, and that ones single isn't released for another couple of weeks as far as I can see.

My other half says it's a new track to do with some new ride at Thorpe Park... :o

I was just thinking that the way these tracks are racing upwards that there could be an all-new top 4, though there will be varying degrees of front-loading so that's hardly a done deal yet. Gotye will still be selling around 65k so that would be excellent sales for no.5 assuming it gets knocked down to that position.

The Swarm ride looks amazing and there's HUGE buzz surrounding it! I for one can't WAIT to go on it!

This is the ride that's been in papers for something to do with the arms coming off the dummies in test runs and stuff. (But I think they were just for promotional purposes!)

The campaign for the ride has been magnificent!

Hopefully when the Radio 1 playlist kicks in next week, Elephant will become more stable? Or they could reduce it to 59p? I just can't bear to see it fall so hard :(

NOOOOOOOOOOOO :(

08. Sean Paul - She Dosen't Mind

09. Swedish House Mafia - Greyhound

10. Alexandra Burke - Elephant

12. Jls - Proud

13. Labrinth - Last Time

14. Jay Z & Kanye West - Niggas In Paris

51. You Me At Six - The Swarm

It's good to see that Jls are not going straight to number one these days, I am still shocked The Club Is Alive made it to number one aswell.

Um, wow. Loads of people will be terrified about going on the ride if they heard about that (even if it's not true).
