Syndare are currently off to a reasonable start but their votes move them down the top 10 as points for Rachel Sermanni and Frida Hyvonen enable Fljótavík and FYR Vojvodina to leapfrog them. The crowd in the stadium erupt once they realise the host nation are in the top 5 for the first time.

Because the votes are so widespread there is time for literally anyone to take the win this time.

Second nation in a row to shoot themselves in the foot somewhat, points for Syndare and Kopecka mean that Frida Hyvonen slides down to 9th. PRoJ make a welcome return to the top 10 after bagging themselves 10 more points.

I used to get points from Mdice once in a blue moon, nowadays it's almost every contest - either way it's very much appreciated :D

 

Oh, and in the meantime thanks Syndare for pushing me up to 12th, Vojvodina get no thanks for sending me tumbling back down.

+10 Kluminican Republic – CSS – Hits Me Like a Rock (CSS are vaguely familar in Terra Avium, this was really good on first listen)
+8 Tinnmark – Laleh – Some Die Young (the favourite to win we gather? we can see why, stunning production on this)

It’s the turn of the newcomers next as Terra Avium vote and a 10 for CSS is more than enough to enable Kluminican Republic to leapfrog Ashton to head the table for the first time. Numayania also leap into the top 10 thanks to CW. As for their own fortunes, alas Room For Happiness still remains rooted to the bottom of the leaderboard, the bottom few have some ground to catch up now.
