I'll LMFAO Turn Me On if it goes back to the top 10

It is now closing to Emeli Sande :o

I can't believe Sean Paul is doing well! :o And then at the same time we've got Madonna looking to miss the top 40 with her next single, and other big pop stars from that time like Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears struggling to get hits (Moves Like Jagger aside ).

I heard Call Me Maybe for the first time yesterday (I know the amount I talk about how huge the song is going to be, you'd think I'd actually heard it, but I was only basing that off its success in other countries ). I LOVE IT!!! It's kind of cheesy and teen-pop though, but I love it. I now fully understand how it's #1 everywhere with so little promo and why fake versions are selling so much.

It's amazing how well Azealia Banks is doing!! :o I really, really hope it can get top 10. That'd be so amazing.

I'd also love Greyhound to get back in the top 10 on iTunes. It's a really brilliant song. You can tell so much effort was put into the song, and it's so refreshing amongst the lazily produced dance songs (e.g. Starships) which clog up the charts.

It would be great! So much better than Antidote! Fantastic instrumental electronic music.

I for one am glad the chart is clearing itself from rubbish music (e.g. Dappy, JLS) and embracing some really great tracks (both lyrically and production-wise), including 'N***as in Paris' and 'Greyhound'.

New Glee songs ^^

Surely its only a matter of time before Carly Rae Jepsen's labels releases Call Me Maybe? Well you'd think so anyway. The fakes are gonna get quite high otherwise.

The same goes for We Are Young, can't see how they can wait until mid May.

It really is a strange one. 'Call Me Maybe' had been on iTunes since last November and I genuinely think if it hadn't been removed, Carly Rae Jepson would be top 10 officially at the moment and potentially no. 1 on iTunes right now instead of Chris Brown.

There's a good 80-100k sales that the track could be accumulating at the moment. I fail to see the significance of a low selling #1 over a massive selling #2 - surely the more a song sells, the more money the record lable makes?

The same happened with We Are Young aswell. It was on iTunes last year, and they removed it after the song started blowing up in the US.

How did 212 get so high in the chart so quickly?

It's an amazing song, and is somehow suddenly getting heard by more people I guess = more sale.

And it's also had a discount I think, but I don't know how long that's been for.

These posts = a very happy Joseph.

Seriously, I only listen to her in Corrie to hear if she says it. She said it three times in the two Monday episodes this week. ;)

Alyssa at #39, this is holding up quite well really. Glad it wasn't the flop many people thought it would be. 2 weeks till I see her live.

46. Call Me Maybe - Hits Now!

57. Call Me Maybe - Carly Rae Jepsen Tribute Team

72. We Are Young - We Are Young Singers

113. Climax - Usher Tribute Team

121. Call Me Maybe - Hit Masters

128. Call Me Maybe - Here's My Number

150. R.I.P. - A Tributer

I guess that's all you need to do to sell records these days; record a bad cover of a popular song that isn't out yet!

If Call Me Maybe's release date is pulled foward to this Sunday, it would easily go to #1 next week (not that i want that to happen or anything, just pointing that out)

The fake versions of Boyfriend are plummeting already, that didn't last long. It's rapidly decreasing in the USA as well (the real version obviously). Just a question of whether it will recover or not. I still haven't listened to it.

If Sean Paul can at least reduce the gap to 82% tonight, I fully expect him to be number one come Midnight tomorrow (on iTunes)

01. Chris Brown - Turn Up The Music 100%

02. Sean Paul - She Dosen't Mind 76%

03. Nicki Minaj - Starships 66.6%

24. Jls - Proud (Ouch)
