I think 'Let's Go' could be quite a long-lived hit. 'Can't Say No' probably not but then we thought that about 'What Makes You Beautiful'.

It would have been intresting to see Fun release on Sunday and went head to head against Conor.
Lol slightly irrelevant but I find it funny that my iTunes homepage has an ad next to the 59p songs image, for the new iPad saying "pre-order now".

Great that Fun is out now but unless it gets a decent lead this week then I can't see it going to #1 at the moment (its not on the feed either?).

Next week Conor is out (according to his twitter like Manic said), then it'll be Calvin/Ne-Yo, Tulisa (now out the 30th April according to her label), then it'll be Rita Ora etc. I can unfortunately see it getting stuck but you never know, something I've mentioned might not as a big etc.

I think we're over-estimating how well Calvin Harris & Ne-Yo's 'Let's Go' will do. It's a great track, don't get me wrong, but with so many great tracks competing for #1 at the moment, I fear it'll peak at #4/5. The move forward by Tulisa is interesting though - I reckon she's got the #1 in the bag for that week, regardless of who she's up against.
I'm pretty sure Calvin is heading for the top 3 at least. I don't think it's a certain #1 though. Could be his third single in a row (excl. We Found Love and Off The Record) to peak at #2.

Some people on here are never going to acknowledge any artist that teenage girls like having a long chart run. I'd just give up if I were you. :drama:

We Are Young is bound to get #1. It's not going to stall at #2 like She Doesn't Mind (okay it might, but it's unlikely imo ).

I have thought the same actually, it wouldn't surprise me if he got another #2  I don't think no video will help him either, unless he releases it in the next week or so.

I guess it depends what Fun's opening sales are like for its first week, just have to wait and see. I still think Fun could sustain 3 weeks at #1 I just can't can't see Conor Maynard at #1. Calvin Harris is a maybe just think the track will peak at #2.

I can't help but get 'Give Me Everything' vibes from 'Let Go' - and that's not just because of Ne-Yo. It's a very radio-friendly track. Heart will hammer it to death, as will Capital and Radio 1. However, it may do what GME did and steadily climb up to its peak.

Surely we're all forgetting about the song that's really going to shoot up the iTunes chart next week? "Drive By" by Train is going to be massive. (At least I hope so anyway).

It has a fake cover version doing quite well. I think it'll go top 20 at least.

Ah, dilemma. I wanted Azealia Banks to make the top 10 this week but (assuming fun. do now) that'd be at the expense of Sway and Flux Pavilion, therefore giving us a top 10 with no British artists in it whatsoever. Ideally both "212" and "Level Up" would overtake Katy Perry before "We Are Young" does, but I think it's unlikely.

Flux Pavilion is only credited as a producer isn't he? I'm unsure whether to credit it as 'Sway' or 'Sway feat. Kelsey' as various sources seem to disagree with each other but I haven't seen Flux credited on it anywhere.

I'm still counting it as a Flux hit :P he was credited in the release schedule although that must have been incorrect.

I wish Flux Pavilion was credited, since he's a lot of the reason why the song sounds so good. Plus, he has a lot of fans, so it would probably boost the sales of the song if his name was attached to it.

89. Together in Electric Dreams - The Human League

Unless the OCC fix their mistake with this, it's entirely possible that this - a song which does not actually exist - will enter the top 100 this week :drama:

(Just going to do the top 100 update for today, it's a bit out of date now but I need to stop getting behind on these).

Wait, so now Tulisa, Cover Drive, Conor Maynard AND Far East Movement's new singles are all out on 30th April?!

Why the first two were pushed to that date is beyond me, since Conor at No.1 that week is pretty much a done deal in my opinion.

So now We Are Young is out, i'd say it might enter No.7/8 maybe? Then, as i said before, it'll rise to No.2 next week, before getting stuck behind all the new releases. You can just see it coming a mile away :(

I can't seem to purchase "We Are Young". It says that it is "Temporarily unavailable". Perhaps it was put up on itunes by mistake? Or it could just be an error. If it is an error, it could cost them some sales if others are having the same problem as me.

Edit: Nvm, it seems to be fixed now ^_^
