"Level Up" is quite strong by Sway's standards but quite weak for Flux Pavilion IMO.

"Too Close" is rapidly becoming one of my favourite songs in the chart. Dubstep but not for dubstep's sake, really enjoying it.

It's not exactly easy to miss :P

(Can you include my fact about the top 2 assuming Conor is #2? :kink:)

:nono: because with proper indexing the artist names begin with M and J.

30 consecutive weeks top 40 for LMFAO  Surely this must be one of the longest consecutive runners ever! Party Rock Anthem only had 22 consecutive weeks T40

Frankie Goes To Hollywood spent 37 consecutive weeks in the Top 40 with "Relax" back in 1984 (In my earlier days of studying the chart). A feat which was far more difficult to achieve back then as opposed to todays chart of the digital era.

I really quite like this! Train top 15? :o

We're drawing closer to the horrible inevitability of Marina being revealed as #11. I'll feel a prang of pain at that moment. :(

Boo.

I know I'm possibly in the minority but I definitely prefer 'Wild Ones' over 'Titanium'! (I realise I'm two songs late, but whatever! :P)

This Alex Clare song is boring. His voice is annoying and I'm already bored of it (due to my housemate investing in his album and playing the shit out of it!)

Downloaded 'Too Close' a year ago - when it was 'Single of the Week'. Had no idea it'd ever get as high as #16 in the UK chart, but I'm thrilled, such a powerful voice - and the dubstep-esque production is just incredible.

It did have a few things going for it though with the publicity surrounding the ban and then a steady flow of remixes. Still a great song :D

Discussion Thread Here

I can see loads of non-#1s in the Summer as per usual, unfortunately. :( Or maybe Nero will release a comeback single and have a 1-8-30-OUT non event of a chart run

I would say cher Lloyd is a better example of a summer 2011 non number 1,without top 10 hits cher lloyd would be nowhere whereas nero dont live for no1s and dont expect to be so successful chart wise imo, they dont expect as much coverage on radio and mtv as cher lloyd does either!

Here's an extract from my 'clean' version of Bank's song 212:

That goalie's getting beaten

That goalie's getting beaten

That goalie's getting beaten...

The Crazy Gang's been knocked down, 1 to 2

What player'll beat the keeper and follow through?

Efan Ekoku,

Alex Clare track is really a grower, its a great track to listen to.

2002 49 She's On Fire

2010 18 Hey, Soul Sister

2012 14 Drive By

Absolutely LOVE 'Drive By', far better than their last two hits. Great to see it outpeaking Hey, Soul Sister, I can see it having a similarly massive chart run.

Jason Mraz has re-peaked -_-

Edited by B.r.É

So Train have outpeaked HSS, but not Drops of Jupiter, cool. I still can't see why Radio 1 continue to snub Train on their playlists, it's hardly got the stench of Radio 2 about it.

I can't believe Hey Soul Sister only had a peak of #18 !

Really like their new song though.
