Next week has a lot of notable releases:

Alexandra Burke - Let It Go

Gary Barlow & The Commonwealth Band – Sing (EP) (CDS)

Lawson – When She Was Mine

Rudimental feat John Newman - Feel The Love (CDS)

Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso feat Ryan Tedder - Calling (Lose My Mind)

Sex Pistols – God Save The Queen / I Did You No Wrong (7”)

I imagine Gary Barlow will be #1, Alexandra and Lawson top 5, Rudimental top 10 and Sebastian Ingrosso top 40. I'm not sure how well Sex Pistols will do, they won't be a challenger for the top spot but possibly top 20. These campaigns always flop, Rage Against The Machine being the exception.

Hello northern line!

Nah... Bad Boys Inc :( :heehee: there is so many dull boy bands I can think off.

What's with the sudden surge for Tulisa's 'Young' then? The good weather?

As for the next few weeks, I reckon Fun.'ll snatch the number-one spot this weekend (May 27), then hold on to the top spot for a second week (June 3). Then we've got DJ Fresh and Dizzee Rascal with 'The Power' (June 10) and Cheryl's 'Call My Name' (June 17).

In regards to the Jubilee song - it's very similar to 'Wherever You Are' by the Military Wives, well to me anyway - though the children singing at the beginning really ruins it. Claims that a charity single/Gary Barlow single will do well are completely unjustified though - did 'Teardrop' (both a Barlow project and a charity single for Children in Need) not peak at #24 before falling out the chart the following week? I think people overestimate the selling power of these tracks, so while I reckon it'll reach the top 10 - I'm still not convinced it'll reach #1.

I can't say I'd even heard of this Gary Barlow song until I saw people discussing it on here. I'll be shocked and appalled (but pleased because it stops Fun ^_^) if it gets #1.

Kelly Clarkson - "Dark Side" to #172.

Glad to see this in the top 200 now! The video made its debut today, so the song will likely keep on climbing I hope. ^_^

I haven't even heard of 3, 4 & 5...

I didn't know the lead singer from Lawson went out with Mollie King and featured in The Sat's documentary in 2010. Apparently he went mental on Twitter when they split up and called her a whore or something.

EDIT - apparently their single is about her.

A low selling week no matter what next week so i therefore predict :

Alexandra Burke - Let It Go #4

Gary Barlow & The Commonwealth Band – Sing (EP) (CDS) #3

Lawson – When She Was Mine #7

Rudimental feat John Newman - Feel The Love (CDS) #14

Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso feat Ryan Tedder - Calling (Lose My Mind) #24

Sex Pistols – God Save The Queen / I Did You No Wrong (7”) #12

I really like the new Alexandra single. I hope it does well, but top 5 would be good enough i guess. I predict Fun. will stay at #1 for two weeks now, although i would have prefered them and The Wanted each getting a week at the top.

Remedy  #14

Summertime  #50

You've only EVER heard of about half of chart hits before release!

I'm pretty sure Rudimental will be going top 5 at the very least, people are really underestimating it IMO. Like I said, biggest pre-order success since 'Louder' which opened at #1 with 140k, not saying it'll do THAT well though...

That's possibly because I never listen to the radio except for the chart show... :P

To have any chance of #1 next week, it'll *have* to, though.

I can see Let it Go being a bit of a flop - reckon it'll go in top 20 then a fast decline out

That's what people expected of Elephant! Going on that, this is guaranteed top 10. Top 5 not at all out of the question.

I can't see how LIG will miss top 10, Alex may be rapidly declining in popularity etc. but with how fairly low sales are likely to be I can see her fanbase easily getting her at least #6/#7, I can see it top 5 though. It will definitely bomb afterwards but that's always the case with fanbase buys. I hope it can stick around a bit but it hasn't had nearly enough support, top 5 on fanbase will be an achievement tbh.
I know I will be buying Let It Go. Alexandra has got made great dance songs this era. Her vocal really suits the production. Hopefully Let It Go can go top 5, but unfortunately it won't have any staying power.
