I like that the track is full of energy and it really suits them.

 

I'm not quite sure about the (lack of) melody yet, it's a bit too much "all over the place" right now, but I will definitely add it to my playlist and it should most probably grow.

 

It does feel there is a mixture of 3 or 4 songs in one here, a bit like how I felt when I first heard 'My Wicked Heart'! That can only be a good thing for me seeing that 'My Wicked Heart' is my favourite song of all-time! :wub:

Hmm. I like it but I feel it's a bit dated and lacklustre or maybe that's the 'pure pop' sound that was popular a few years back idk.

I actually think with a decent music video, this actually has much more potential to do well than 'Run For Your Life' and 'Ambitions'. I already think it's better than those two songs but in terms of X Factor winner's second singles, I'd still say 'Bleeding Love' and 'Bad Boys' are better but this is easily in third place at the moment (joint third with 'No Promises' that is!!! :D ).

I think the fact it's not your typical 'dance pop' sounding track, will go in their favour! ^_^

Its certainly very instant! maybe not as anthemic and jumpy as it wants to be, but I quite like it on first listen.

It will top the charts, but for not as long than I thought it would be.

I like it. Their vocals on the chorus sound great.

Meh...I don't know. 50% of my Twitter feed is wetting itself at present (they're performing this at T4 on the Beach today) and calling 'Wings' the best thing since sliced bread. It's just all a bit 'The Emperor's new single' for me...

Seriously, being on the verge of 23 is not the kind of age to start considering yourself to be getting old! :P

 

But I don't even listen to Capital or Radio 1 much these days. I prefer Heart FM so much more...not to mention I sat through about an hour of 4Music the other day and used an expression my dad used to use when I watched TOTP or CD:UK...'THIS IS JUST NOISE!!!'

 

 

 

I just find this quite dull. If the music video styles them the way I think they might (like they've staggered drunk through H&M backwards) then I won't be liking this at all! That said, it MAY grow on me!

Really, really like it on first listen! It's definitely one of the strongest lead singles from an X Factor contestant, imo. Really impressed by it. I can't see it getting old to quickly for me. Also, am I the only one who can hear similarities to Beyoyo's 'End Of Time'? (I can see why they did that accapella version of it now!) Missed their performance on T4, but I'm looking forward to catching it online!

It's definitely got s Beyonce/Xtina vibe to it but follows a Girls Aloud-esque song structure. With that combination, it should be massive.

 

I do wonder if it will get old by mid August though, the release needs to be sooner now it's out there.

It's an alright song, it will definitely grow on me over the coming weeks but I will probably get tired of this by the time it's released. :(

I can hear it too, to me it sounds like Christina Aguilera covering a mash-up of End Of Time and Drummer Boy by Alesha Dixon :lol: As I said though, really liking it atm.

This is really really good! It's exactly the sort of music Little Mix should be making, even lyrically with its "be who you are, spread your wings" vibe. It reminds me of a Girls Aloud song with quite a rare structure and although I don't think the rest of the song matches up to the pretty awesome intro, it's a really promising start to their campaign.

Can't say I'm keen tbh. I was wanting it to go pow in my face and it has fallen short. I just hope it grows on me! I need a new girl group to go mental over!
