I'm seriously surprised Payphone didn't really get affected by the fake version at all :o anyway, very nice to see Maroon 5 finally get a number 1, although its far from their best, shame it couldn't be This Love or She Will Be Loved, or even Moves Like Jagger

I reckon Cheryl will definitely get the #1 album, and possibly Linkin Park the week after (if they can hold off Maroon 5)

All the new entries doing really well so far, didn't think Maroon 5 would shoot up to #1 that quickly (shame it's with one of their worst songs...)! Stooshe are probably looking at a #4 peak at least, possibly even higher at this rate?

I can't help but think Stooshe are the new Cover Drive.

'Love Me' and 'Lick Ya Down' were very marmite and full of character, went to #5 and #9 respectively but both plummeted.

Now the second single is alot safer, less annoying and more catchy (and probably both successful). I can't see 'Black Heart' sticking around for long, but it should do better than the last single.

Glad Maroon 5 will get a no.1 it's ABOUT TIME. Some of us have been waiting 8 years for this. That said, expect Rihanna to rush release something midweek in order to take no.1 by Sunday.
Well, if they'd release a CD single...

Cheryl will kick the foetus's butt in the album chart!

I can't believe they didn't release a CD single for Timebomb! Would have gone top ten! That song deserved to be in the top 10! I still listen to it all the time weeks later!

Is it just me or does Black Heart sound really Christmassy (not that that's a word).

That's just because it's a classic big ballad, and Christmas is the time of year we normally get them on the radio.

I'm not that keen myself. It's an alright song, but Stooshie themselves over-sing it, and their vocals sound very affected, like they are in the battle round of The Voice trying to prove a point. I find it painful in places.

I will laugh if that happens

Can someone confirm whether Wiz Khalifa still appears on the clean version of 'Payphone'. I'm tempted to get the clean version over the original (only so I can play it in the house, in front of the family), but there's something about Wiz Khalifa's out-of-place rap that I like.
So happy for Maroon 5.

Stooshe were on a cookery programme on Channel 4 so that has probably helped them.

Lethal Bizzle - Leave It Yeah (Remix) #99

Stooshe getting a bit desperate.

Lethal Bizzle ft. Frimpong, JME, Scrufizzer, Face, Frisco & Flowdan in the top 100. *dies*

We need to get him to do a POW 2012. It's probably the only way he can get another top 40 hit tbh.

I wouldn't call it desperate; Sunday Brunch regularly has musical acts as guests. They don't always perform, but I was watching when Stooshe did and it persuaded me to buy the single, so it's just effective promo. Nice to see them doing so well.

Yes, he does! I agree that it's completely out-of-place, but I can't help but attempt to rap along with him when his part comes in

Pleasing to see Stooshe as the second highest new entry! I knew it'd do better than "Love Me"; it's had loads of Radio 1 airplay. Hopefully it doesn't overtake Cheryl though (although she still has a sizeable lead over them, so it's unlikely.

I was so sure Stooshe would bomb but I'm pleased they're not! Although I wonder how they'd be doing if they were selling at full price.
