July 1, 201214 yr I'm so pleased that 'Feel The Love' has held up this well, particularly after people's initial predictions, but it's held on better than a lot of other number ones from the last 2-3 months, I still can't get enough of it!

Rolling Stone magazine says, "The material is the band's most powerful since its megahit 2000 debut." Singer Chester Bennington recently appeared to have admitted that the band went too far with the experimental, heavily electronic sound of its last album, "A Thousand Suns". Speaking with Kerrang! magazine about the band's forthcoming CD, Bennington said, "With this album, we've incorporated a lot of guitar work with big choruses and the heavier electronic stuff to give it that really big wall of sound feeling without getting too metal. This will be more familiar to people than 'A Thousand Suns' was, where we were like 'f*** it, we're just going to go bonkers." "A Thousand Suns" polarized the band's fans, while not selling nearly as many copies as the group's previous three multi-platinum studio efforts. Shinoda told The Pulse Of Radio at the time that Linkin Park were glad they went in a new direction. "I think we were just at a point where were hearing out things out there in the music world, a lot of stuff that was kind of boring us," he said. "The music that we were writing that sounded like something that Linkin Park would do was kind of boring us. And we wanted to really challenge ourselves to try something that felt fresh and exciting." - HMV Track Listing 1. Lost in The Echo 2. In My Remains 3. Burn it Down 4. Lies Greed Misery 5. The new album is a rich, pop-infused collection featuring 10 new tracks. The album was executive produced by Max Martin with additional tracks produced by Benny Blanco and Ryan Tedder. Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine said of the release, "'Overexposed' is definitely one of our most diverse and poppiest albums yet. We had a great time recording it". Guitarist James Valentine added, "'Moves Like Jagger' was the first time we ever worked with an outside writer, so we decided to try it some more on this record. At this point in our career I think it was a good thing to completely mix up our process and it yielded good results, as well as a more collaborative spirit within the band. We wanted to make something that sounded contemporary with the elements of a lot of early eras of pop music. This is our most pop record ever and we weren't shy about really going for it." Maroon 5's musicianship and frontman Adam Levine's vocals are as distinct as ever on 'Overexposed', continuing to showcase the band's ability for creating songs that have become part of the pop fabric. Maroon 5 began writing and recording the album during their most recent world tour and the resulting collection is chock-full of undeniable, anthemic melodies.
