I must have missed this on the opening ceremony, I really like it on first listen, does not sound like something I'd usually hear on the chart :o

Was on before the official ceremony.

Didn't she perform Heaven and not this?

I still believes first foray into the top 40 and radio 1 playlisted it earlier this year too...i always thought wessex boy charted at xmas?

Good to see this back in the Top40 could also be back because it has been played quite a lot on Channel 4 Racing this week at Glorious Goodwood as the instrumental of 'Next To Me' is used when they do the runners and riders of the race.

It's re-entered by people buying it. :kink:

If you mean WHY, then it's cause it's 59p. ;)

I never liked Emeli Sande, so not overjoyed about her being top 40 again with that song...

She performed Abide With Me.

Although Heaven was used at the end of the section depicting music/technology when the house lifted to reveal Tim Berners-Lee.

Heaven was honestly the PERFECT song for that scene. It was absolutely amazing.

And Crew Love!!!! :w00t:  The Weeknd FINALLY gets a UK top 40 hit! :D

It's re-entered by people buying it. :kink:

If you mean WHY, then it's cause it's 59p. ;)

ugh hate old songs re-entering at 59p such a waste of a top 40 position...only new songs should be allowed to take advantage of this!!

Crew Love , thrilled to see Drake get another top 40

Great to see The Weeknd finally in the chart. Fab voice. But I do wish it was The Birds (Part 1) charting instead.

This is very good on first listen! :o

First time hearing Drake/The Weeknd. I like it because it's quite unique sounding.
