Crew Love -> Picking Up the Pieces -> Too Close -> Through the Night

This is just TOO good.

Chasing the Sun has done very well in the end.

Chasing the Sun has done very well in the end.

I'm glad it has done as well as this, because I thought it will disappear very fast after a high peak. Chasing The Sun is one of their best imo.

Decent run for 'Chasing The Sun' in the end, it didn't look like it would be the case initially.

Album Discussion Here

I'm glad it has done as well as this, because I thought it will disappear very fast after a high peak. Chasing The Sun is one of their best imo.

It's good, but it's generic, and a bit too much like Glad You Came for me. That and All Time Low are their best songs IMHO.

That said, can anyone REALLY hear Example singing it? I know he wrote it. But I'd like to hear his demo...

Yeah, I can definitely imagine Example's vocals on that song. You can tell he wrote it.

I'm going to be so upset when Niggas in Paris leaves the top 40 (for good). :(

The Wanted rarely do well with a winter ballad!

I don't understand what the appeal of this dreadful song is supposed to be, it's a shame that 'No Church In The Wild' didn't do that well when it's brilliant. :(

33 28 11 The Wanted - Chasing The Sun

34 NE 01 Drumsound & Bassline Smith Feat. Tom Cane - Through The Night

The Following songs are out this week from the top 40:

40. Ed Sheeran Small Bump

39. Emeli Sande - My Kind Of Love

38. Clement Marfo & The Frontline - Champion

36. Rita Ora feat. Tinie Tempah - R.I.P.

35. Madeon - Finale

34. Labrinth - Express Yourself

32. Usher - Scream

27. Public Enemy - Harder Than You Think

Bangarang has stuck around in the mid 20s on itunes this weekend for the first time, maybe even higher finally next week, such a grower!!

Now listening after Murray's fantastic win at the Olympics :D

Thoughts so far;

Fantastic to see Frank Turner finally getting a top 40 hit even though 'I Still Believe' is far from his best. Didn't think it'd hold on in the end. Yay for Crew Love hanging on as well, I hope it can continue to climb but even if it ends up with a #37 peak that'd still be brilliant (like No Church In The Wild). Another brilliant new entry from Drumsound & Bassline Smith, finally a top 40 as lead act for them and three places higher than the mids too - plus it's possibly my favourite of theirs  Can't believe that featured vocalist is male though, assuming it is the Tom Cane featured on the song!

Chasing The Sun, Niggas In Paris and Bangarang all in a row - three songs that have had far greater longevity than anyone could have imagined but still don't get even the slightest bit old  The same is also true to some extent for both Alex Clare and Azealia Banks so pretty fantastic chart on the whole so far! Emeli re-entering kind of ruins it though (and Paloma's song still sounds okay so she doesn't get left out of this post :kink:)

Still don't get how people can listen to this for pleasure. It's better than that other one that was out earlier this year I suppose.

I don't understand what the appeal of this dreadful song is supposed to be, it's a shame that 'No Church In The Wild' didn't do that well when it's brilliant. :(

For me personally, it's like the catchiest thing I've ever heard.

I wish No Church In the Wild also did this well though. Most of their album deserves to be as massive as NIP imo.

Talking about very catchy songs, here comes Bangarang.

Have no idea how this has had such a great run, but its great to see!

It's top 100 run is even better! :o It's surely going to be one of the highest-selling #24 hits ever.

Oh dear I can't stand this rubbish.
