Just noticed the amazing "Around The World" by Daft Punk at #182, thanks to its 59p reduction of course.

To think that made #5, songs that good don't even make the Top 40 thesedays let alone the Top 5. :(

Really, really hoping that Lucy Spraggan outpeaks Run For Your Life! :D

How about Lucy Spraggan outpeaking Don't Call This Love! :P

It's a shame though because Lucy is getting all this success now off the back of one audition. Has she "peaked" already, or could she deliver more if she got to the live finals?

I wonder if we will see other auditionees in the next few weeks getting X Factor airtime who also already have albums released independently on iTunes. :o

Great to see Little Mix at number 1, its really grown on me of late. Even better to see that Fazer monstrosity not heading for as high as I thought, I don't know what's worse, the amount of autotune used or the lyrics :manson:

SHOCKED to see Lucy Spraggan doing so well :o she was certainly the highlight from last night though and it is nice to see more original songs being sung on X Factor this year (providing they're not god awful of course)

New releases:

1. Wings - Little Mix [also #195 and #976]

19. Killer (Album Mix) - Fazer

28. Explode (Radio Edit) - Cover Drive [also #70]

52. Beat Down (Original Mix (Explicit)) - Steve Aoki & Angger Dimas

54. Summertime in the City - Scouting for Girls [also #160]

257. Take You There - Mánran & Michelle McManus

302. I'm Grime (feat. JME) - Kozzie

341. Pour Your Love (feat. Marlene) [Radio Version] - Benga

363. Dream of Me - Kristina Train

620. Another Hard Fall - Ben Montague

306. Run Boy Run - Woodkid

:D

Fake versions of Mumford & Sons' I Will Wait (at #703), Swedish House Mafia's Don't You Worry Child (#714) and The Script's Hall of Fame (#987)

The new Swedish House Mafia track is bound to be pretty big, but I don't see the point in holding it back for another month or so? -_-

Cheryl really needs to a 59p reduction asap...

Oh I agree. People say she has to do promo if she wants to go top 10 but a 59p reduction for a week would almost certainly do it, I'll be more than a bit annoyed if her label don't cut the price during its official release week (unless it somehow goes top 10 without the reduction, of course).

It pleases me to see Fazer flopping right now, although I wouldn't be overly surprised if he gradually climbed into the top 10 during the week. Poor guy, bombing when Dappy and Tulisa so easily got big hits.

Oooh. Lee WILL be pleased. :)

According to Lucy's website, her album is being taken off iTunes soon (not her own decision apparently) and 'Last Night' is only available on there so expect it to disappear pretty soon and not come back, unless it's released as a single. It'll probably still make the top 40 this week even if it's deleted right now though. If/when the album is deleted the only Lucy Spraggan song that'll be available will be 'Tea And Toast' which was released as a single (currently #45 on iTunes).

So basically if any of you want to download 'Last Night'or her album you'd probably best do it sooner rather than later.

Who even knew Michelle Mcmanus was still alive, never mind relevant!

Well it was on Manic's New Release schedule for 27/8...

Lucy Spraggan is now #3. Gosh.

She's like an even more chavvy version of Lily Allen...

It's a shame though because Lucy is getting all this success now off the back of one audition. Has she "peaked" already, or could she deliver more if she got to the live finals?

She's already got her breakthough - I don't think how far she progresses on XF will make any difference now.

Isn't Lucy Spraggan missing from this list??

Well it was on Manic's New Release schedule for 27/8...

Maybe last week, because this week Get It Started is scheduled for the 17th Sept (Someone already mentioned it I think)

Isn't Lucy Spraggan missing from this list??

She is not really a new actually, as far as I know she was on the X Factor audition that's why she rapidly climbed up the chart :o

Why would she be dead? She's the Adele of the 00's tbh. :coffee:

lol hardly eric, she didn't sell millions, win grammys, break records etc
