Following Brooklyn’s social media revelations on Monday (January 19), Victoria Beckham became the subject of a fan-fuelled campaign to make her 2001 No.6 song Not Such An Innocent Girl a No.1 hit. It duly debuts atop the Download Singles chart (3,578 sales). It achieved overall DUS growth of 19,615% week-on-week from 20 units to 3,943 units, somewhat short of the 6,548 units it would have required to return to the Top 75.

Unfortunately the article didn't give a new total, but it's interesting to know that it did 20 units in a normal week.

3,943 sales - a combination of 3,578 downloads and presumably 365 streaming units (can't imagine there'd be any physical sales, even though the physical chart does show at times that old singles can randomly appear in that chart lol).

Edit: I'm pretty confident it must have exceeded 100,000 sales this week! OCC said 93,000 at the end of September 2021. That was a "rounded to the nearest thousand" total, but it's all we have to go off. If we assume it added 20 sales every week since then, plus this week's 3,943, it would take its total to 101,443. Even if the total was less than 93k back in Sep 2021 (92,500+) it would still work out to over 100k!

This is funny, 100k Spotify streams in a day for a song on lifetime streams of 3 million is pretty massive!

Nice that we can more or less confirm total sales of 100k plus! I’m really hoping the upward trend can continue into the next week. It would be such a thrill to see her in the Top 200 on Spotify!

Hopefully that’s just the weekend effect (though not sure how the weekend would affect a strange situation like this 😂).

We need to make sure she stays at #1 on iTunes in time for the Big Top 40. Could be amazing promo/media coverage.
