Might re-enter in the New Year due to price reduction if it does fall out of the chart. It seems that Under the Sun is going to be a good hit for her, so I think there may be a third single released from the album.

September 2, 201214 yr Why do ALL new albums fall massively in week 2?! :rolleyes: Because they have little appeal outside of their core fanbase which buy it in the first week, unless they reach a wide audience in which case they are very much stable. The Elton John album is not a typical Elton John album, I can't see it selling more than it has so far. Their chart runs are identical so far. September 3, 201214 yr Both Elton and Conor have performed terribly and both will be in the running for lowest selling album of all time. Conor has a new single coming out and if it does well it may help the album out with sales, i cant see Elton getting a hit single though. The of Monsters and Men album has achieved a good debut, i hope it can maintain a steady chart run and not plummet, hopefully the album can manage 100,000 at the least in time to come, its too good of an album to get terrible sales.

When interest in the general population is low week 2 sales will me much lower than week 1 and so the album falls in sales and much of the time in chart position.
