Why? because I don't like Gangnam Style?

No, of course not. I am referring to you huge over reaction.

Well I can't wait for PSY to be kicked off iTunes number 1 on Sunday. His parents should be ashamed of themselves for bringing such an annoying twat into the world.

What's wrong with 'Gangnam Style'? Yes it will be knocked off the iTunes number 1 on Sunday. A majority of people on this forum don't share the same view as you, I think.

I don't care if the majority of people on here don't share the same view as me.

Well anyway, Gangtam Style will have to give way for 1D. It will be the fastest climb to the top of the downloads chart in history (Hope I'm wrong)

I'd be surprised if it beats The Military Wives record...

How open minded of you :D

Military Wives' 'climb' to #1 wasn't a climb at all, it went straight in on the strength of pre-orders. Same applies to Matt Cardle 'When We Collide'. 'Live While We're Young' is an EP pre-order so will have to make a genuine climb, which it should manage to do in an extremely short amount of time (probably <12 hours).

Swedish House Mafia's EP pre-order is doing extremely well, I think they're looking at a possible 100k+ opening - their resilience thus far at such a high position is reminiscent of DJ Fresh's 'Louder' (although that was up to pre-order for a lot longer than SHM). Really hope they can secure a #1 but it's such a potentially competitive time with the possibility of One Direction keeping them off and possible releases any second from Rihanna and Adele, I can't help but feel they're going to get a high-selling #2 :(

With Rihanna's Diamonds now not released till November, next week will be a battle between 1D and SHM. But it's already been decided.

SHM isn't out till the week after, is it not? It's 1D and Ellie for this week's new releases.

I dont think it matters who else is out, 1D are a cert really - unless they have the massive first couple of days sales and then bomb down the chart? But then sales are going to be low from the rest of the competition - unless Ellie does better than expected, or She Wolf takes a sudden suurge or someone dies?

Really though they've only had 1 major hit in the UK in the form of WMYB - GBY limped in at 3 (depsite XF performance) and bombed down and if One Thing didn't get the 59p reduction I doubt it would've made Number 9 - but again that bombed down the chart as well.

Rihanna releasing on Sunday..slightly worried for 1D just because of what happened with her and Maroon 5 last year but they'll probably still manage it, she could climb the week after like Only Girl did in 2010.

But with Adele dropping anytime soon that's if the Bond track is any good, could keep Rihanna at #2 the week after, it really depends when Adele releases.

btw, I love your siggie :D

Yay! Clever Rihanna/Rihanna management (Rihannagement?) doing OA/OS to the nearest Sunday. Would be amaze if she could hold 1D off #1 although it's unlikely. It does also confirm her as an obstacle for SHM annoyingly but they'll have great sales wherever they enter.
