Apparently

'Marilyn Monroe' by Nicki Minaj

is being performed on X Factor tonight by

Jade Ellis

!

Really hoping it might go top 40 [preferably top 10] after her performance because this soooo needs to be a single!

Full rumoured songlist...

Ella Henderson:- Born to Try by Delta Goodrem

Jade Ellis:- Marilyn Monroe by Nicki Minaj

Lucy Spraggan:- Pumped up Kicks by Foster The People

Kye Sones:- Black and Gold by Sam Sparro

Melanie Masson:- I heard it through the grape Vine - Tina Turner

Carolynne Poole:- Mr Know it all- Kelly Clarkson

Rylan Clark:- Cascada- Evacuate the Dancefloor

Jahmene Douglas:- Jessie J - Big White Room

James Arthur:- Teardrop/Dry your eyes mate Mash up - Massive Attack vs The Streets.

GMD3:- Simply Amazing by Trey Songz

MK1:- Run this town:- Jay Z, Kanye West and Rihanna

Union J:- Lights by Ellie Goulding

These are fake, since it's an Olympic-themed night. Apparently Rylan is doing "Gold".

Ella Henderson:- Born to Try by Delta Goodrem

Now THIS is one song that needs a massive X Factor boost.

I really meant the Christmas 'period', so that would include iTunes gift card week, as you refer to.

BTW, it looks certain that the lowest sales for a #4 in 2012 (Taylor Swift last week) will be followed by the highest, this week (61,198 to beat).

The highest is probably still to come, probably Xmas week.

What's the betting there'll be a James Bond week on XF with Ella doing 'Skyfall'?

Seems plausible enough. I want a Christmas week as last year they didn't do one and it was definitely lacking when it came up to the festive period.

Actually, I say "I want..." but I haven't actually watched any of this year (just read about it) so couldn't care less

'Skyfall' seems to have stalled a bit, would have been good to see another drop for those below it but it isn't looking likely now

That would be PERFECT!

Marcus sang 'Last Christmas' and Little Mix did 'Silent Night' (amazingly) last year. Were they not festive enough for you?
Why is there no love for Madonna's 'Die Another Day'?! It's seriously the best Bond theme. Still sounds so good, to this day!!

Second best, after Sheryl Crow's "Tomorrow Never Dies" :kink:

Well, yes - I meant the highest *so far*.

Leona's 'Trouble' is out tomorrow. The acoustic will be available on the EP. Here's her live performance of it for The Sun.

So One Direction and Taylor Swift should see big boosts tonight :o

Hall of Fame holding up really well, but it is getting great radio/tv support too which ofcourse helps a lot

Va Va Voom #15 already..definitely another big hit on Minaj's hands!

I don't think Jonathan Ross will help Taylor too much seeing as she isn't performing and she isn't being shown on X Factor until next week I think :(

Ella is actually singing

Hold It Against Me

apparently but I'd rather it was

Born To Try

- if the latter returned to the top 40 I'd be elated  I'd not mind the former either tbf.

Of that list, REALLY hope

Lights

returns but I just wish someone better was singing it! I think

Big White Room

could go top 40 on iTunes, even though his performance will be awful.

I'm getting mixed up  After have a look on good old Wikipedia I've seen it's both Matt Cardle's and Joe McElderry's years! But I still can't remember those singing last year

Given the theme which has been revealed and the rumours of songs that a poster gave on DS, i would say that none of the songs which were given will be sung. Already the Sun have reported 2 songs which go against the rumoured list

Saying That I hope

Lights

is sung and gets a boost :D

Edited by ElectroBoy

Yeah that was a fake list, it's actually Olympic week so expect cheesy song choices like Gold, We Are The Champions etc.

I suppose

Black & Gold

could still be sung given their loose interpretations of any theme

Union J:- Lights by Ellie Goulding

If only :(

James Bond Themes:

 109. Chris Cornell – You Know My Name

 184. Alicia Keys & Jack White – Another Way to Die

 384. Alicia Keys & Jack White – Another Way to Die

 488. Carly Simon – Nobody Does It Better

:ne: 820. Carly Simon – Nobody Does It Better

 879. Paul McCartney & Wings – Live and Let Die

 943. Duran Duran – A View to a Kill

 955. Garbage – The World is Not Enough

Madonna’s Everybody is at #574…so much for getting it to number one! It wouldn’t have worked anyway.
