Justin Bieber ft Nick Minaj - Beauty and a Beat  #11
Justin Bieber ft Nick Minaj - Beauty and a Beat  #11

Oh wow! Hope it can get in the top ten, it really needs to be the top ten hit that ALAYLM wasn't.

Well said. Couldn't have put it better myself.

Vidcapper, I like you, but you really need to start taking my advice. If you post positively, more people will like you. It's as simple as that.

Oh, and Shine Ya Light is shit. Just like all of her other songs. Worst artist of 2012 by far. :puke:

Oh God, the irony is dripping off this post

Vidcapper,i don't like you but please dont take advice from Griff.

Oh Toby  <3

If people want to hear a song with uncountable racial slurs/effing and jeffing, and general vileness, then look no further than the delightful F**kin problems by A$AP Rocky.

Genuinly the death of music.

"Death of music"? Are you actually being serious? The fact that it went top 100 on iTunes earlier in the week actually gives me hope for this country.

All this Shine Ya Light hate is NOT good.

Rita's singles go like this for me:

1. How We Do (Party)

2. R.I.P.

3. Shine Ya Light

4. Hot Right Now

But I actually love all four. TBH, at least we haven't got Radioactive as a single yet, my least favourite on the album (excluding Facemelt).

1. R.I.P

2. Hot Right Now

3. Shine Ya Light

.

MASSIVE GAP

.

.

4. How We Do

I agree that Radioactive is awful.

I must admit, I really don't understand what's so special about Rita Ora. I guess she's become some media darling who has been given a bit too support to get her those UK #1 singles. Songs that nobody will remember in a year from now. The song I'd say is closest to "classic status" is 'Hot Right Now', and that's a DJ Fresh track.

Rita Ora's singles could be by Pixie Lott and probably wouldn't sound much different. ** shrugs **

I agree with your last sentance, but that applies to all pop songs (not just Rita's and Pixie's).

I'm sure you'll forget them as soon as you can, but R.I.P and Hot Right Now are definitely going down as UK urban classics. It's already so obvious it's going to happen.

 3. Skyfall - ADELE

 4. Can You Hear Me? (Ayayaya) - Wiley

Looks like the film is working its wonders then :D

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet but the version of 'Beneath Your Beautiful' from Emeli's album has been made album-only for some reason

You do realize that it's possible to give advice without knowing that you're doing the opposite thing?

For my record, I do have a lot of positive posts, but they're just eclipsed by my negative posts. ^_^

Yes,but then you would be called a hypocrite.

Well, I can't argue with that. :P :(

Could be to direct more sales to the 'Electronic Earth' version to boost that closer to #1 (and thus the #1 effect), much like when 'Next To Me' had two versions and they deleted the single version (although that plan kinda failed). Alternatively they might think making it album-only will convince a few more people to buy Emeli's album?

I wonder if eric turner & avicii could do anything when it's released - it's been getting constant airplay on mtv dance, and avicii's singles tend to end up getting into the top 100 one way or another. I don't recall 'superlove' being playlisted and it ended up going top 40 on itnues I think?

not expecting it to do much though, unfortunately. :( it's overlooked by the likes of christina, sun focus, the wanted and (unfortunately) misha.

What a powerful staying power of Adele... she's selling so well and top 3 after more than 30 days with no video or whatever, such a waste she realesed on Friday... ;(
It's amusing most of Adele's big hits haven't been #1.

Talking of 'amusing' things, who is Isölasion and why do they have the same IP address as you?

Don't Speak for #1 please.

Are you referring to the No Doubt song?
