Fix You  #48

All of the Lights  #55

Two of my favourite songs of all time.

I would really love for Labrinth + Emeli to steal the #1 from Robbie officially this week, I am partial to a bit of Robbie but that song is vile!

It'd take a miracle though, it won't happen.

Following Alt-J winning the Mercury Prize:

84 Something Good

189 Tessellate

243 Breezeblocks

880 Matilda

Rita Ora/ Shine Ya Light  27 This must be climbing because of the music video coming out.

Nicki Minaj - Va Va Voom back up to #33 looks like the video is making a bit of an impact because this was out of the top 40 at the start of the week

Rita Ora - Shine Ya Light up to #25, with an X Factor performence I have a feeling this could go top 5 if the performence is good,

I hope not. :( It's unlistenable.

Does anyone know where Steps 'Light Up The World' is on iTunes? Just wondered if their performance on This Morning had any impact at all?
 16. JLS (Let the Climb Begin)

lol awkward. I think they might get a 2nd week top 20 after all then! :D

Calvin Harris is probably going to knock Disclosure out the top 10 AGAIN today. I feel so sorry for that song.

Its currently at 468

I think it was out of the top 1000 - so I think it has had an impact... but not one that could save it (at the moment)

Disclosure might have the worst luck in a while actually, it always seems to go top 10 on Thursday and get knocked out on the Sunday by a new entry, but it should get knocked out by Calvin's new song!

I wouldn't be surprised to see Justin Bieber going top 10 as Nick Grimshaw has done a spoof of the video, I wonder if it will have any impact, it will be a shame if Beauty & The Beat misses the top 10.

Greg James did the spoof, not Nick Grimshaw :P (Unless Nick also did one :o)

JLS 'falling at a comical rate'

Suppose it makes sense that Rita's video only just came out, 'Shine Ya Light' is climbing ridiculously fast though ( to #23) - maybe her #1 record could still remain intact after XF?! I dislike the song but would prefer it at #1 over Bruno :P

Nice boost for 'Something Good', hopefully it can still get them another top 75 hit (it was one place short of giving them a 75-75 discography before :P) 'An Awesome Wave' is also back at #2 on the iTunes albums chart and a second version at #42, should definitely re-peak.

Boo at Robbie falling off #1 already but he has the official #1 easily wrapped up anyway and if he doesn't fall too far behind Labrinth he could be back at #1 after Graham Norton.

Doom and Gloom hanging around well for the rolling stones. Robbie may only sell around 115k at the rate his sales have fallen in the past 48 hours - cant wait to see the figure!!

115k - is that all?

Well checked the friday update and he's on 101k so hopefully 120k at least - maybe 10k today and 12-15k after Graham Norton?!

Yeah, they both did one. Greg posted his yesterday and I think Nick posted this morning on his show. I've yet to see the latter! :P

Could get a top 10 clear out next week then - Misha B and Bruno Mars are very likely, then we've got Rita Ora performing on X-Factor this weekend, and what I'm positive'll be a chart hit, 'Tidal Wave' by Sub Focus. Officially, that'd push out Maroon 5, Taylor Swift, PSY and Rihanna most likely.
All depends on when RiRi premieres the 'Diamonds' video! Bitch better release it on Monday or something, if she does it the week Little Mix release 'DNA' and she prevents them from getting to number 1, I'm going to cut some bitches! [/similar post to last week]
