iTunes keeps messing around for me at the moment - how are Little Mix and Stooshe doing? Last I was able to check DNA was around 8 (hope it climbs a bit higher and then boosts to the top, or at least #2 after the XF performance) and Stooshe were in the mid 30's... any changes?

Ouch a pre-album single from Example could miss top 20 :o Like McFly he's been on loads of things as well, I've seen him on 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Celebrity Juice and Unzipped!

 

Was really hoping Little Mix could be at least #3 by now so they could possibly jump to #1 with the XF boost, but they'll definitely stall at #2 behind Bruno now :(

McFly will be front loaded though. Remember they used to have a really high peak for their tracks and drop like bombs the next week?!

Good that LM are 5 at last but they should be higher by this stage. I'm not that crazy about DNA I must admit being a fan of them but I still want them to have major success.

 

Actually pleased more for McFly as LIE is beautiful. Didn't expect them to do that well :o

I can remember a 1-20 drop for one of their singles around about the time Umbrella was out (I think it was Baby's Coming Back the week Umbrella was released?), I found it quite funny at the time :lol:

Yeah it was Translyvania/ Baby's Coming Back in May 2007 I think from memory. t***** is a great song, though. It was off the album which had been out for quite a while by then, and even more strangely, Transylvania had been a B-Side on the Star Girl CD the year before. Baby's Coming Back was just a pointless cover they attached to it to make it a double A side. I'm not surprised it dropped so much the next week, it was odd that it got to No.1 in the first place at that point. I'm sure the release got delayed a lot as well.

Little Mix doing great at the moment. #2 at least is definitely sealed now, #1 wont be too far out the question after tonight... although im fully expecting Ed Sheeran to receive a bigger boost than we think tonight. Hopefully they'll turn to album sales instead though...

Disastrous for Example. I hadn't realised how awful his chart run was for 'Say Nothing' [2-6-21-31-60-130-OUT] :o "Non #2"? :P

Robbie? he was catching up Labrinth before the performance, it would have been a lot closer without the performance, instead of a 35k gap it could have been a 10k-15k gap but I'm sure he would have been number one.

Maybe but still maybe that 20-25K is that what LM will need this week anyway and 25% boost in sales it's VERY good effect...

The album had better do exceptionally well now. I guess she isn't really a singles artist, especially if she can't do well with this divine track :(
