It's funny how the only song on the album that could fit that description is the lead single. I therefore assume you haven't actually listened to the album in its entirety and are just jumping to conclusions.

I haven't listened to the album in its entirety but that is irrelevant - the entire singles run (i.e what actually sells the album) bar The Lazy Song appeals to the same demographic as Just The Way You Are. Grenade and Marry You may not state that they're going after that demographic quite so obviously but they clearly are. The people who love being told they're not actually horrendous looking are the exact same people who love being told a man will kill himself to save them and wants to marry them for lolz.

I mean he clearly doesn't make songs like that all the time, but to deny his début sold on the power of his lyrically calculated love ballads is rather odd to me.

Any reason why this buried diamond is being exposed finally?

It's the new single - out on 17th December. Should be getting a bit more radio play around now..

Obviously you've got a point but 1) I still wouldn't say he's specifically aiming for that market with songs like G and MY. He's a pop artist: he WILL release love songs. And due to his orientation, they will obviously be directed at women. It's like me claiming that Ed Sheeran released 'Lego House' to appeal to the same demographic. And 2) I still stand by my original statement that he took a risk with his debut album. The lyrics were always going to be about love (which pop musician has never released a song about love?) but I was talking about musically. Adele hadn't exploded onto the scene with 21 before Bruno released his first two singles, which were ballads. And again, no dance music whatsoever. He hasn't even featured on a David Guetta track or a Calvin Harris one yet.

Oh right. Hopefully this one will have a video BEFORE it's release. So annoyed that 'Thinkin Bout You' and 'Pyramids' both failed to set the charts alight. I wish he would tour the UK already.

Come on Gangnam Style you've had your time in the top 10, let other new songs such as Not Giving In enter.

Stooshe at #48 now

A 21-50 chart run would be hilarious.

FYI, based on iTunes positions, I estimate Mariah is ~#65 overall, and The Pogues ~#70 - both should continue to climb through the week, of course.
Any idea why ac/dc are back?

Their music has been put on itunes for the first time. I have to confess, when I saw them with a few top 100 entries, I did Google it to see if someone in the band had died...very bad of me!

Anyone know where this random new Jessie J song has all of a sudden come from? :o

It's from the film 'Silver Linings' which I'm assuming is at the cinemas now?

Ahh, so no new album just yet...

 05. Alicia Keys

 06. Gabrielle Alpin

^ A move that could/should see Alicia Keys debut at #4 this week, with Labrinth/Emeli Sande at #5.

 25 Gangnam Style (Now 83 Version)

Into the Top100

96 Taylor Swift/ I Knew You Were Trouble

03. Girls Aloud - Something New (It would be awful if this debuted at #03)

05. Alicia Keys - Girl On Fire

11. Rudimental - Not Giving In

12. Little Mix - DNA (Little Mix looking likely for a 3-12 drop!)

16. Christina Perri - A Thousand Years

41. The Wanted - I Found You (Only two weeks top 40? OUCH)

62. Stooshe - Waterfalls (HAHAHAHAHAH)

95. Taylor Swift - I Knew You Were Trouble

108. Taylor Swift - I Knew You Were Trouble

97. Example - Close Enemies (Oh Dear)

12. Little Mix - DNA (Little Mix looking likely for a 3-12 drop!)

41. The Wanted - I Found You (Only two weeks top 40? OUCH)

I think Little Mix has still an outside chance to stay in the top 10 officially, as there is the album version already top 40 on iTunes.

Also The Wanted could stay for another week top 40 with the NOW 83 version climbing up too on iTunes.

The album will never see the light of day if this plummets 21-58-OUT! They will need a massive single early next year if the album is ever going to be released :drama:

So did "Something kinda oooh" and "Call the shots", so there's nothing wrong with being #3 :kink:

They're safe for a debut at #2 anyway, One Direction won't overtake a 16k gap in only 4 days, they're selling 10k a day and "Something new" - which sold 11k yesterday - won't drop THAT much.
