Comments like this I hate. Saying Kimberly was the best even though she had two lines and Nadine/Sarah hit every note fine? And saying Sarah was the worst after Cheryl's screaming?

From those couple of lines, Kimberley was still better for me. And I don't think Sarah hit the "take a walk on the wild side of life" not very well.

Having seen them live on numerous occasions it's always Sarah who has to sing the "big notes" and normally pulls them off without a problem, kind of like what the Spice Girls did with Mel C.

So will Olly's and Alician Keys performances do anything for the new singles?

Next week we have Rihanna/Bruno Mars/Tulisa on XF live so Locked out of Heaven & Diamonds might be back top 10 again if they fall on sunday!!!

Unless my feed has reverted, but Girls Aloud are down to 3.

edit: back to 2, must have reverted!

Oh, come on! I love Sarah, and find her wailing amazing, but she did not nail her screams at all! Sarah has about 3 lines too, much like Kimberley, so most of what you've said would be something I disagree with.

I hope Rihanna performs her next single tbh (I think it's Right Now). Diamonds has already been big enough, and she needs to try and make her next single bigger than You Da One.

Yeah, usually she pulls them off perfectly! But tonight that didn't happen. Perhaps Something New is too fast for them?

Well Rihanna's album drops tomorrow, so the remixes of Diamonds and 2 album versions will probably keep it top 10 next week. Little Mix more likely to drop out and Bruno.

Alicia up to #10 and Fallin at #81! :cheer:

I hope Fallin' can re-enter the Top 100 officially, the charts need that song in again!

Could be final week in the top 75 singles chart for Gotye, just 6 weeks short of the year anniversary!!
A bit gutted that we're getting Bruno and Rihanna AGAIN when Ke$ha and Pink are releasing next week (and Kelly Clarkson) but oh well.

It should do. It's only 59p so that will help

The show hasn't been good this year all round - bad acts getting through each week and the usual guest judges. I would have loved P!nk to perform, she is an amazing live singer and it would have given Try the boost it needs.

Yeah, its hard to know what she'll do but i think this is the first time shes been here to promo the new album so she might just go with the opening single as the record companies for artists like her wont realise Diamonds is coming to the end of its cycle. A second single could easily be promoed in january and do well with lower sales. Thats how they messed up You Da One.

Its strange with bands coming here to play on XF. Look at Fun. in hindsight it would have been much better for them to have promoted Carry On which is out this week but flopping. If they had played in 2 weeks ago on XF it could have established itself in the top 10 with that one performance(see Labrinth/emeli) and therefore increased its airplay for the 3rd single and in turn given more people a reason to buy the album over xmas (with 3 singles being huge). But they played it safe performing WAY meaning it rose to the top 20 due to the performance but fell away quickly cos loads have already heard it and also a few more were convinced to buy the album but they have fallen away again after a couple of weeks and Carry On will most likely be removed from the radio 1 playlist this week due to the floppage of it.

That was a pretty big jump for Alicia, wasn't it? :o

Where is she combined now?

Agreed, id say Cowell will be back next year again or itll be the end for it. The only performances of note have been Fun. & Labrinth and then i suppose Robbies had a good impact!
