November 23, 201213 yr Author Any shows for Olly these days? Yes the Xtra Factor for the next 3 weeks, and with the album out next week, he could do the double, #1 in the singles and albums. There isn't any major big singles until the X Factor winner now, most likely highest new entry will come from Ke$ha in the singles charts next week, probably top 5.
November 23, 201213 yr So Girls Aloud probably get about 65k by Sunday? Not great that is it.. Pretty sure they'll sell more than 6,000 across today and tomorrow. I'm not expecting less than 70k.
November 23, 201213 yr So Girls Aloud probably get about 65k by Sunday? Not great that is it.. They are on 59k with two days left, including Saturday which I guess is a strong day for sales. So hopefully they can clear the 70k mark.

November 23, 201213 yr Hopefully Girls Aloud can pass 70,000 by Sunday. I'm hoping Ten can sell over 300,000. I wouldn't want them to break their streak of 6 consecutive platinum albums.
November 23, 201213 yr But Rob had a performance at GH show on Friday. Any shows for Olly these days? anyway congrats to his fans with his new fastest single in career =) Surely the congrats should be aimed at Olly rather than at his fans :P
November 23, 201213 yr Any update for "DNA"? Rihanna already 30k ahead, she should do around 100k this week. Can't believe Susan Boyle is down to #6, thought she was a very strong contender for the Top 3. Don't think Little Mix can do 70k now, probably 50-60k.
November 23, 201213 yr 50-60k is a great start for them, they'll sell well over Christmas and New Year. Sales the poor Saturdays could only dream of.
November 23, 201213 yr 50-60k is a great start for them, they'll sell well over Christmas and New Year. Sales the poor Saturdays could only dream of. 50-60k are not bad sales, but from the X Factor perspective they are rather poor. Matt Cardle was labeled as "flop" when he did over 70k in his first week (granted he didn't have any hit singles). I do think Little Mix would have more consistent sales than Matt Cardle though despite they might have lower opening sales. Many children would want their album as Christmas present.
November 23, 201213 yr I think Olly is definitely on for a second week at #1 his sales will decrease a bit though with the album track getting cherry picked Sales will DECREASE because of the track being cherrypicked? That makes sense... Olly slightly behind Robbie at this stage sales-wise but his lead at #1 on iTunes is far greater than Robbie's was at the end of the week (in fact Robbie dropped to #2 on iTunes defore another performance put him back at #1 with a small lead). Olly could get anywhere between the 2nd and 5th highest first week sales of the year, 2-4 are currently within 6k of each other (Maroon 5, Robbie and SHM with 141k, 137k and 135k respectively) and Olly will probably open around that region as well. Easily his biggest opening to date anyway which is very impressive considering where he came from! Bublé overtaking SuBo as I expected, I think he could get a #3 re-entry now. SuBo could still be top 5. Example dropping to #9 today isn't a great sign, he could end up debuting at ~#13 now :drama: Ugh at Rudimental dropping to #14, although they're now top 10 on iTunes so they could reclimb a couple by Sunday and possibly climb into the top 10 next week. Now! 83 tracks will obviously be messing with them a bit though. Rihanna should be top 40 and maybe top 30 with 'Right Now' which will be the third time an unpromoted album track involving David Guetta has gone straight to the top 30/40 after 'Turn Me On' and 'Play Hard'. Good to see 'You Shook Me All Night Long' climbing into the top 40, three AC/DC tracks being played on Sunday would be amazing - I doubt it or 'Highway To Hell' will hold on though.

I'm expecting this album by Little Mix to be a more successful 'Sticks + Stones' by Cher if I'm honest. That I would be happy with. They're the pop act that would usually only be strong sellers in the singles and concert side of things. Their albums are going to be decent sellers, but not much above 300k in total... They're still doing great, imo.
