How was this a hit when the superb 'Get It Started' completely flopped on it's arse? :(
Alright song here, I would've preferred Back In Time being his one top 20 hit of the Global Warming era. I would've liked radio to support Get It Started, but obviously Shakira being on the track means of course it'll flop. #64 is good for that considering it got no promo.

Fairytale Of New York - cannot see the appeal I'm afraid.

Fairytale Of New York =

I officially CANNOT at BuzzJack letting up its hatred of Pitbull for his single worst song ever.

Anyway, forget about that. THE POGUES    7 out of the last 8 years in the top 15 (I do wonder what happened in 2010 to make it peak at only #17?)

2012 21 Back In Time -1-

2012 64 Get It Started (Pitbull Feat. Shakira) -2-

2012 16 Don't Stop The Party (Pitbull Feat. TJR) -3-

Hmm, not looking too good for his new era. Hopefully Don't Stop the Party can still around for a bit so it doesn't look so bad (although it would still look better had Get It Started reached the Top 40).

I LOVE THIS PITBULL TRACK!! :w00t: So infectious!

Y'all having a good time out there?

I really like this Pitbull song (and its parent album), surprising really considering how much I despised him in 2009. I guess On The Floor was the turning point  Is this a RedOne production? I assume so seeing as he's namechecked in one of the verses.

God help me, I quite like this :drama:

This is actually alright and this is coming from someone who usually hates Pitbull's music.

How are Buzzjack loving this?! I don't mind Pitbull that much but this is the worst thing he's ever done, one of my least favourite tracks of the year. 'Get It Started' ROBBED

Safeguaring against floppage, which has occured in both cases.

I think they would've re-united even if the albums sold loads tbh. They've done MUCH better with their singles as solo artists and still want to re-unite.

I listened to half of that Pitbull song, and I'm scared to listen to the rest of it. I liked Back in Time from earlier on this year though.

The Pitbull song was alright...probably just because it followed Tulisa....but it looks quite terrible now when the Pogues are on

The best *Christmas* song ever recorded imo (yes Matt, I saw that post earlier :P )

I have seen 'Grime All Stars' but the vast majority of sources (including the single cover) list all the artists separately.

Done some digging around, and it appears it was listed only as "Grime All Stars" in the chart, but as you say virtually everywhere else the individual artists were named. As my records relate to the chart, I'll be keeping it as Grime All Stars but can completely understand anyone using the full credits.

Oh, and yes Eric thanks for pointing out my typo! I usually check back over posts but must have missed that one.

Differences between the chart credit and what is often found elsewhere could be an interesting topic!

Go and cry to your Lena album that sold one copy bbz xoxo

No - it was produced by TJR, hence why he is credited as the featured artist :P

I can see why you asked though as it's not as if he's really well known.

I was wondering why Radio 1 refuse to play Madonna, Kylie Minogue and even Robbie Williams because of their age yet support Pitbull?!

It's hypocrisy.

But they supported all of those when they were a few years older than Pitbull is now?!

Hee hee. I noted my mistake!
