December 12, 201213 yr Cue 48 posts of sobbing over Girls Aloud not getting playlisted. Really good to see Rihanna A-listed already. Hopefuly Stay can have a shot at #1 after Xmas. Edited December 12, 201213 yr by sammy01
December 12, 201213 yr James Arthur, will.i.am, 50 Cent and Katy B :yahoo: I haven't heard the 50 song yet but he is long overdue a hit and it features Eminem so I imagine it'll be very much to my tastes.
December 12, 201213 yr Hmm, I don't like Lightning Bolt very much, so I'm not happy that the song is on the A-List. I don't like Jake Bugg as much as I should really. Rihanna's Stay isn't anything special either. Woo for James Arthur going straight in on the B-List though. ^_^ Also, if I could recommend any songs from the INMWT list, it would be Joey Bada$$ and Miguel.
December 12, 201213 yr Ecstatic to see Rihanna straight up to A-List! Really hope Radio 1 playlist Skylar Grey pretty soon. When is the Christmas/New year freeze?
December 12, 201213 yr Also, 50 Cent, Eminem and will.i.am are the same age as Robbie Williams, so Radio 1 can't be ageist.
December 12, 201213 yr Author Ecstatic to see Rihanna straight up to A-List! Really hope Radio 1 playlist Skylar Grey pretty soon. When is the Christmas/New year freeze? This should be the last one of the year. Was hoping they'd remove "Little Things" and add "Kiss You" this week but oh well.
December 12, 201213 yr Kemosabe! :D and great to see Katy B and Tom Odell on there too Was hoping they'd get The Neighbourhood's new single on the playlist since it's out in early January, sigh :(
December 12, 201213 yr Rihanna and Jake Bugg now A-list! :cheer: Katy B on the C-list - will be looking forward to hearing this as I thought her debut album was great! By the way, the Radio 2 Playlist thread will be up tomorrow, had a lot on tonight.
December 12, 201213 yr Girls Aloud are doing Live Lounge on Friday so its a bit odd that BCYLM is not added.
December 12, 201213 yr If anyone's interested, I've compiled a list of Radio 1 playlist runs for all songs so far in 2012. Probably had too much time on my hands lately. So if you want to know the playlist run for a particular song, just ask and I'll tell you. Some random facts: Longest runner on this week's playlist is Olly Murs (8 weeks). The only song in 2012 to go straight to the A-list was Breakn' A Sweat by Skrillex. And at a staggering 14 weeks (which is 2 weeks more than any other song), can anyone guess what song has spent the longest on the playlist in 2012?
December 12, 201213 yr And at a staggering 14 weeks (which is 2 weeks more than any other song), can anyone guess what song has spent the longest on the playlist in 2012? Something Rihanna related?
December 12, 201213 yr No, although Where Have You Been was the second longest on the playlist at 12 weeks.
December 12, 201213 yr I might be wrong, but I think Rihanna releases singles too frequently for them to be able to keep the same one on the playlist for 3 months. Was it any of Feel the Love, Too Close, Spectrum or R.I.P? Edited December 12, 201213 yr by Eric_Blob
December 12, 201213 yr I would have guessed Where Have You Been was the longest runner too. Felt like that thing never left the playlist  No idea what was longest honestly, Gotye maybe?
