I don't actually understand who would download that at all.

It was only a minor hit, unlike 'Mr Blobby, and should long since have passed into obscurity.

I suspect those two sales were by mistake, people thinking they were downloading 'Mr Blobby'

Imagine their disappointment when they went to play the track. Surely that's the whole point of previewing a track in the first place. :D

Wasn't 'Out Of Your Mind' really close to getting number 1? I swear it was number 1 up until Saturdays sales (as it was on CD:UK). Can't remember what beat it though...
It was Groovejet Mr Jonjo. One of the more famous chart battles in recent(ish) years.
Michelle McManus only sold 295,000 of her winners single?

Jings.

Was probably released way before Christmas.

It was released in January 2004. ^_^

You would have thought they would have released it in December for higher sales at least. But I guess you could say on the other end January is an easy way to get to #1 back then.
I remember it was breaking news on the Sky News channel when Crazy Frog got to #1 with Axel F.

I remember the advert for the ringtone used to get shown 3 or 4 times in one advert break sometimes.

Sweety The Chick always use to get shown as well

I could be wrong here, but I had it in my head that Michelle's All This Time sold 294k in 2004, meaning that she has sold no downloads between then and last year, but then sold 1,000 downloads this year? Weird, if true!

Some people in my school use to play Crazy Frog and Sweety The Chick on the bus on the way to school

I've just suddenly remembered that the Crazy Frog was naked from the waist down, and it eventually got censored

Far be it from me to incite chart manipulation but we could pick a song that's only sold <10 copies for the 1st 51 weeks of the year, download it, then twitter OCC back asking how many copies it sold again ;-)

Surely it was/is the best selling ringtone!?
