I think the top version of Gangnam Style might make #2 on iTunes. As obviously the current top 2 will fall eventually, and it's not far behind Stay at the moment. But there's a big gap before Scream & Shout.

Plus there is a second version of S&S top 40 on iTunes, currently. I think S&S could get a few hours at number 1, before losing it again to the TOTP effect as both TJC and James Arthur should re-overtake. I don't think the top 3 need to worry about Psy until the TOTP effect wears off I reckon (unless Psy is featured heavily (likely) on TOTP himself).

Indeed itunes will freeze later tonight then be gone on boxing day but its surge in sales over the weekend (one version as high as 25 & the other one as high as 15 today) could well mean theyll have sold the 3-8k they need to be top 75 at least this week and maybe even pass a million sales officially. But youll need around 10k sales to be no40 with the gift card effect and all!

They have done for years. I've been buying Amazon gift vouchers from their website since at least 2008, if not earlier. I think you can also get the physical cards from supermarkets too now.

Just the weekend effect. They always climb a lot in the tail end of the week so they end up charting lower than they are on iTunes.

Hope it continues to climb with the gift card effect!
