It was REALLY close, which was why I was really pushing the voting this time.

Oh that was very lucky. The six tracks that almost qualified vary from average to shit.

UGH, the most annoying thing about that is that Paulina Rubio would've actually qualified if Yuxhaaq had've voted.

 

Never mind, shit semi, shit qualifiers - time to cross over to the much superior Semi 2, where hopefully some good songs will get through. Or is that too much wishful thinking?

 

EDIT: Just seen, 2 songs I voted for went through - glad for September and Obedear. The rest (possibly Ashton aside) range from average to shit.

Shame Charlotte was so far down, but I never expected her to be through. Decent qualifiers for the most part though so no great loss.

Only REALLY sad for Asaf Avidan there considering that I would have been extremely lucky to get all my votes through. Gabrielle Aplin can go die tho please thanks :angry: (and Delta and First Aid Kid to a lesser extent).

Aside from no me in the final this is actually not too bad a TBO final, although of course I'm sad for Charlotte Qvale and Dia Frampton.

Thank GOD for Delta, or else I'd not have been represented in the final this year! :drama: At least my favourite entry of the year made it through!

Asaf Avidan was actually doing quite well to begin with and then just began dropping down the scoreboard. The same goes for Chad Valley. A lot of good songs did miss out by a small amount of points. Had we seen ten runaway qualifiers then I wouldn't have bothered with the reminders, but I knew after ten or so votes that it was going to be a toughie. It's a shame but I guess we all have each other to blame. :heehee:

My theory is that everyone knew Tegan & Sara were a surefire TBO winner and thus didn't vote for them to save their own tracks. It's all politics :angry:
