Apparently (Twitter rumour so probably false), Beyonce will be releasing a new single on January 11th! :o

 

If that's true then it could be for the best. Sweep '4' under the carpet and pretend it never happened, and let's see if Beyonce goes back to releasing decent RnB pop tracks again.

 

Love On Top?

 

I'd say 'Love On Top' was a minor chart hit. 'End Of Time' had so much potential to be a great track but the studio version sounded like a demo that hadn't been completed.

Also 'Countdown', or did that just get a video and nothing else?

 

'End Of Time' should have been huge though. Easily my favourite thing she released from '4'. The production is insane and I honestly thought it would have been huge. But I think they messed the release up didn't they? :unsure: (Or it might have been released just as she was set to give birth, so video plans and promo slots were cancelled etc..)

4 was a consistently great album! Granted it took a bit of time to soak in, but it really is a quality album that was deserving of so much more success! End Of Time should've been a world-wide #1 :cry:

Aah. My apologies. Oh and I definitely agree with the very last part! It pains me to see the likes of 'Work It Out', 'Baby Boy', 'Beautiful Liar' and 'Deja Vu' all do as well as they did, yet EOT only JUST managed to reach the top 40.

 

Speaking of EOT, has anyone else heard Little Mix's accapella version of it? It's amazing!

Ha! I was about to correct you and say GGGB was released in 2007 and ended early 2009, meaning she didn't release an album in '08... then I remember the Reloaded version of the album was released in 2008! :lol:

Probably lack of interest now, plus its sales have dropped. I can see it falling quite a bit next week.

I heard the single features The Cataracs and Miguel, which is just an incredible if true. And probably means the song will be an up-beat track with percussion and a lot of electronic noises popping up everywhere (much like Single Ladies and Run the World I suppose :lol:).
