I am aware of gift card effect, but I was wondering why this was randomly chosen?! It is usually the biggest hots of the year, not some random Flo Rida top 3!

 

Seems to just be the autumn hits this year, with earlier ones like Gotye and fun. not getting a look in despite being some of the year's biggest hits (although Carly is back).

 

EWW at 'Bom Bom'. I thought we'd never see this back in the top 40 :(

It was the Bingo Players/Far East Movement song! I'm not a big fan of I Cry, but I wish more songs had chart runs like it did, rises quickly then starts falling before people start getting tired of it.

There really is some crap in the charts these days :(

Woo, biggest hits of the year.

 

Sam And The Womp has really aged well for me, it's fantastic out in a club and those vocals are something unusual on a big hit.

'Live While We're Young' - meh I still don't like this, although for once I actually disliked the Glee version more than this one.

YES 1D - still absolutely love this.

I find 'Live While We're Young' too similar to 'What Makes You Beautiful' and 'One Thing' for me to get into it properly, however I really like 'Kiss You'... So damn catchy.

Nope. It's just extremely predictable what Buzzjack members hate. It was before I turned the radio on, and I saw comments complaining about a horrible future hit, and I KNEW it would be either Vato Gonzalez or Bingo Players. Some Buzzjack members hate anything with a weird instrumental.

9 weeks top 40 for their much hyped lead single is pretty horrendous considering.

See, this is back due to xmas TOTP, I can see that, but why I Cry?! :lol:

 

It's one of his best singles, that's probably why. It might have also got a bit lost in the rush of new releases earlier this autumn.

There really is some crap in the charts these days :(

Charts right after Christmas are always a bit boring. Old songs come back because of the vouchers plus nothing new are out anyway. :(
