Well, Frank Ocean's Pink Matter is very good as well, but I'd say that this is the best gay rights song. :wub:

 

I wouldn't really say 'Pink Matter' was a "gay rights song". I know it's lyrical content briefly challenges homophobic views but I'd say its about Frank realising that it's not just men he's attracted to.

 

'Bad Religion' is the song on CO dealing with homosexuality (and to a lesser extent, 'Thinkin Bout You' and 'Forrest Gump').

That Harlam Shake track is blinking awful, just hope the track doesn't get near the #1 in the official chart, I just might be tempted to throw my PC out of the window.

Really pleasantly surprised to see 'When I Was Your Man' doing so well already! I guess it's not a typical Bruno ballad instrumentally. It's following the stripped-back trend of 'Someone Like You', 'Stay' and 'Video Games'. I think Bruno needs to really work on his lyrics though. For a song so stripped back, it really shouldn't have cliches such as "I should've bought you flowers, I should've held your hand". :puke: It's a really great song vocally though.

 

Really hope it has a 46-5 jump this week. 40 places in a single week in this day and age is pretty impressive. I hope 'Stay' gets another week at #4 too. :kink:

 

 

Why is this dreadful song doing so well?

Mainly to do with KSI, I assume - the reason 'Get Hyper' did so well, but this release has been timed a lot better than Get Hyper (which I imagine would've been huge if it was released around the time everyone was 'getting hyper').

The song keeps on appearing and disappearing from the iTunes chart for some reason, might be an iTunes error.

 

It still amuses me how many people 'forget' there are other download sites - ones often *cheaper* than iTunes... :)

Little Mix went #10 for all of half an hour. Ho Hey's now overtaken it. :( :lol: To be fair, it's holding up a lot better than I thought it would.

They are!? Great news, although possibly too late in the week to have that great an impact. Hopefully it'll go T10 though and the T10 effect kicks in. And yep, Gabrielle Aplin #3 in the chart update, yet another obstacle! :angry: :P
