It's amazing how in the early hours of the morning One Direction have climbed so much (from like #28 to #5). I think they could get #1 with this.

That's just the pre-orders being added onto it... :P

I was thinking they wouldn't trouble #1 but that was based on the assumption Macklemore would be selling 100k or so this week, but he was only on like 55k on Friday so it looks ilike he's not selling as much as I thought and 1D could steal #1 especially with their BRITs performance to come :(

I thought pre-orders got added in one go at mid-night though. So when they got to #28 that was the pre-orders, and the rest from then on is normal downloads. Although maybe you're right, since I find it difficult to believe it's selling so much at 2 in the morning lol.

Has anyone got idea what Taylor Swift is performing at the Brits? She's got fantastic promo this week. Lets Dance, Brits and Graham Norton all performances.

Oh dear at Ke$ha getting no effect from performing on Jonathan Ross, which has surprised me.

I hope Taylor performs 'I Knew You Were Trouble' and not 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' at the Brits. I'd like '22', but that's not "released" yet so I can see her doing a big hit. A medley would be nice though. 'Let's Dance' and 'Graham Norton' need to be nothing but '22' though!

Justin Timberlake has Jonathan Ross this week too, so hopefully 'Suit & Tie' and 'Mirrors' can benefit from that (as well as the Brits obviously)! But I said it in her thread, I'm absolutely gutted Ke$ha is struggling so much with 'C'mon'/this era in general! It should be HUGE. It's already so much better than (her already very good) debut! :(

It wouldn't surprise me if she performed all three songs this week to benefit her albums, I'm expecting

Brits: We Are Never Getting Back Together

Graham Norton: 22

Lets Dance: i Knew You Were Trouble.

Is Jonathan Ross got a big boosts to songs lately? Because it's only about 3M viewers... but I guess it's fine promo 3 days after the Brits :)

One Way Or Another really is dreadful, I hope that its progress slows down at some point during the day.
At least One Direction seem to be preventing that abysmal 'Harlem Shake' crap. :puke:

Oh no, Harlem Shake is brilliant! If you want a good Harlem Shale video, just look at the video in my signature! :kink:

Don't we know by now that humour and the iTunes thread do not mix under any circumstances?

Tell me about it! :drama:

I think Harlem Shake will be #1 next Sunday and One Direction will be at #3 or #4.

This is probably the only time you'll hear me say this, but I hope One Direction are #1 next Sunday - but only because the competition will be the bloody awful 'Thrift Shop' & 'Harlem Shake'! :puke:

One Direction at #4 already :drama: This is going to #1 isn't it  It's terrible.

I'd rather One Direction. I'm sorry, but even with the dances factored in that Harlem Shake business is atrocious and just noise.

That said, I do find the 1D cover dreadful, but not as much. My heart sank when they started wailing 'I wanna hold you wanna hold you tight', as I prayed it was just a random line they had thrown in and not a molestation of one of my favourite songs :(

It's a shame as I usually do quite like everything they release.

had higher hopes for tyler james when he charted 2 weeks b4 release. looks like it was an anti climax :(
ugh...1D already #3... the top 3 is just awful
Thrift Shop is great, but the other two are terrible imo. I hope it holds on to #2 but I doubt it - Baeur and 1D would be the worst top 2 in ages :puke:

Comic Relief is not even on this week its next month sometime, I'm surprised they released the Comic Relief single so early.
