Aww, Green Garden has stalled. :(

I can't describe my happiness at Bastille's Top 10 entry, it's by far the best song that has been in the iTunes Top 10 so far this year! :yahoo:

Dido's one of my favourite artists. People who say she's boring get on my nerves. If Dido is boring, then what about Adele, Coldplay, Ben Howard etc? No Freedom is now #140 on iTunes, so I really hope she can get another top 40, as I think with the right promotion it could do pretty well. I just hope she'll promote the album over here when it comes out so she can get another #1 album.

Edit: As someone's said above, it's now #131 lol!

I think Need U (100%) could be this years "Fever" (B.Traits), I believe that had a fake version top 300 but only went low top 40 in the end. I can't see Need U doing much better than that tbh. ;)

It's been played on Capital a few times and it's had good pre-orders, I think that it will do quite well in the chart because of that! It'll definitely sell well and do better than Fever in my opinion.

And I also want Wiley to climb into the Top 10 by the end of the evening. :D

Really, really hoping to wake up and find Bastille in the top 10.

Yesss :D (Yeah, I've just got up, oops :/), I'd imagine it will get to the top 5 fairly quickly, I think it may have a problem beyond that as the top 3 have a huge gap between one another, Mirrors would be a great number 1 though.

What About Us is the worst Saturdays single to date imo, or on par with Forever Is Over maybe. Praying it doesn't give them a #1 because they might become complacent and carry on releasing stuff of the same ilk.

Finally a comment about 'What About Us' I can agree with. I'd even rank 'Notorious' as a better track and I thought that was average at best. Their best hit for me remains 'Up' and in the five years since, they've never come close to beating it ('Higher', 'Ego' and 'Missing You' are the closest they've got to claiming my fave Sats song to date).

'WAU' is pretty much nothing of a song, and the version with Sean Paul is  (his vocals just don't sit right over a pure pop backing track). If The Sats wanted to crack the US, they should've promoted 'Up'. It's five years old but hey, UB40 'Red Red Wine' was a US #1 five years after topping the UK chart.

Combined Kworb Popularity Chart:

01 1.0000 Justin Timberlake - Mirrors

02 0.8055 One Direction - One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)

03 0.5937 Taylor Swift - I Knew You Were Trouble

04 0.5702 Macklemore & Ryan Lewis feat Wanz - Thrift Shop

05 0.4708 Baauer - Harlem Shake

06 0.4688 Avicii & Nicky Romero - I Could Be The One

07 0.4051 Ben Howard - Only Love

08 0.3438 Bruno Mars - When I Was Your Man

09 0.2826 Mumford & Sons - I Will Wait

10 0.2625 Rihanna feat Mikky Ekko - Stay

11 0.2560 Bastille - Pompeii

12 0.2497 Disclosure feat AlunaGeorge - White Noise

13 0.2435 Justin Timberlake feat Jay Z - Suit & Tie

14 0.2375 Emeli Sande - Clown

15 0.2188 Ellie Goulding - Explosions

16 0.1938 Pink feat Nate Ruess - Just Give Me A Reason

17 0.1649 Calvin Harris feat Tinie Tempah - Drinking From The Bottle

18 0.1607 Will.i.am feat Britney Spears - Scream & Shout

19 0.1602 ADELE - Skyfall

20 0.1513 Olly Murs - Army Of Two

I actually think that What About Us is OK! And this is coming from a non-Saturdays fan who doesn't usually like their material (Higher in particular is ghastly :puke:). Notorious is my favourite song from them though. Up used to be my favourite song from them but it's boring to listen to these days. :(

I quite like 'What About Us' and rank it as one of their best singles (behind Ego and Higher). The only thing I hate is that the "na na na"'s are very generic and robotic sounding, especially compared to live performances.

How can you say Higher is ghastly! It is one of their best; if it was released instead of Missing You as lead single it almost definitely would have been #1!

The instrumental and verses are OK. The chorus is DEATH to my ears though. :(

I really ought to listen to 'Pompeii' already... :P Pleased to see Bastille having a big hit on their hands anyway, I have liked all of their other singles so far but just not bothered to look up 'Pompeii' yet.

Wiley now ahead of Paramore as the second highest new entry. It's not as good as his last 2 singles but it's decent enough. Was expecting it to do around as well as 'Take That' (the Wiley song :P) at best, looks like it might do slightly better than that. Laura Mvula's continued refusal to climb is annoying me now - the pre-order was selling consistently, why is the actual song not doing so?! :(

'Need U (100%)' looks like it'll get a lot of support from R1 and the pre-order is smashing, I think it's a certain top 10 hit. It's a good song as well, much better than A*M*E's own material.

And I kind of hope 'What About Us' is a #1 or failing that a #6 so it still contributes to them having singles peak at every position in the top 10. They do deserve a #1 after all this time (quite incredible they've managed to stay relevant after so many years) and it's not a bad song although not their best either. It's a hell of a lot better than 'I Love It' as well.

Josh Groban keeps getting missed off these updates :P Currently #78. Surprised at how well he and Miles Kane are doing.
