A second solo chart topper (4th in all) for Justin Timberlake looking very likely today.

Top 3 should consist of Bastille and One Direction

Only a few new entries to the top 40 today but we should welcome Wiley Ft Chip, Laura Mvula, Paramore and perhaps 1975.

Meanwhile the top 3 should also be made up of Mumford & Sons and Les Miserables

Have a chat and enjoy the chart as it unfolds here between 4 and 7 :D

Frozen  one of the first videos I saw. Great memories.

Anyway Stereophonics should hopefully creep into the top 40 today and Pink top 10 please

That should be 2nd #1 as the lead artist for Justin - that term is not interchangeable with 'solo'. It's either his first or his fourth solo #1 depending on if you mean 'only artist credited' or 'creidted as an individual artist' (i.e. outside of groups). Sorry, just a bit of a pet peeve :P

Ignoring that, totally hyped for 'Mirrors' being #1  I hope it's managed decent sales as well, at least 70k please.

And today I will finally hear 'Pompeii'! I await it with bated breath. First time hearing 'Chocolate' and/or 'Indian Summer' if they make the top 40 too. I don't keep up with mainstream """alternative""" music clearly.

I echo the :wub:s for 'Frozen', I'm not a Madonna fan at all but that is one of my favourite songs of all time and absolutely shits over the rest of her discography.

Hi Buzzjack, Thermo's retro faves.

2012

9- DRUNK- Ed Sheeran (32,867)

10- DOMINO- Jessie J (32,639)

Quite a nice top 10 here, however "Rockstar" remains awful.

2008

1- MERCY- Duffy (72,724)

2- WHAT’S IT GONNA BE- H Two O Feat Platnum (40,937)

4- NOW YOU’RE GONE- Basshunter (21,798)

7- DON’T STOP THE MUSIC- Rihanna (16,242)

8- STOP AND STARE- One Republic (16,091)

10- WORK- Kelly Rowland (12,925)

I did love that Kylie Minogue song at the time!

2003

3- ALL THE THINGS SHE SAID- t.A.T.u (32,000)*

4- MOVE YOUR FEET- Junior Senior (28,000)

6- CRY ME A RIVER- Justin Timberlake (19,000)*

10- LOSE YOURSELF- Eminem (12,000)*

Move Your Feet was my favourite song at the time! However looking back my favourite from that selection is Cry Me A River, the Junior Senior song hasn't dated very well but it's still listenable.

1998

1- FROZEN- Madonna (197,000)

2- MY HEART WILL GO ON- Celine Dion (140,000)

3- BRIMFUL OF ASHA- Cornershop (106,000)

WOW at those sales :yahoo: "Frozen" deserved it, it's not even in my top 5 Madonna songs but still amazing! (goes to show how many great songs she had!)

+++

Can't believe this moment has finally happened! JT going to #1 again after so many years! :cheer: [/omrimayo] Other than that, really hoping that Wheatus doesn't re-enter the chart AGAIN :drama: (please general public get some other older songs in the chart instead of Dirtbag and How To Save A Life (that actually looks like happening next week with Fleetwood Mac returning to the top 40!))

4- THE BALLAD OF TOM JONES- Space with Cerys Matthews (84,000)

5- TRULY MADLY DEEPLY- Savage Garden (55,000)

I remember DJ Sammy's The Boys Of Summer. It's one of the first songs that I ever heard! :D

*Checks wording of commentary*

I echo all calls for Pink to make top 10 and Stereophonics top 40.
Frozen was and still is amazing - a high point for Madonna imo. I never realised it had sold nearly 200k in the opening week :o
