Ah yes! I keep forgetting 'My Heart Takes Over' was a pre-album single. I think it's because it flopped so bad (undeservedly so too!). '30 Days' I'm not sure if that even counts  I don't think it's going to be included on any album and as you said, it's airplay wasn't quite to the level of 'What About Us'/'All Fired Up'.

That would make my day if Peter Kay beats the Saturdays to the post.

I'm no Saturdays 'stan', but I cannot stand that fat moron Kay!

BTW, why are there a whole bunch of Blue re-entries this morning?

They joined The Big Reunion and their arrival was shown on ITV2, even though they reunited a couple of years ago obviously, defeating the purpose of the show

Morning update: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...t&p=4242685

59p songs in the top 100:

 21 The Script - If You Could See Me Now

 37 Mario - Let Me Love You

 38 David Guetta feat. Sia - Titanium

 45 Maroon 5 - Daylight

 60 The Scriupt - For The First Time

 62 Birdy - People Help The People

 69 Papa Roach - Last Resort

 70 Stereophonics - Handbags and Gladrags

:ne: 75 Jimmy Eat World - The Middle

:ne: 79 Natasha Bedingfield - Unwritten

:ne: 87 Daft Punk - Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger

 94 Ke$ha - C'mon

:ne: 95 OutKast - Roses

:ne: 99 Paramore - Now

Poor Atomic Kitten and Liberty X! Why aren't any of their (other - in Atomic Kittens case) songs being downloaded?! They're my two favourite groups in the programme :( Blue I understand as it was a Blue-centric episode today, wasn't it? 'If You Come Back' for #1 etc.. etc... :cheer:

Gutted there is no 'I Can' though. Although I guess they're only focusing on the main material! :(

The didn't play any Liberty X songs last night. Also whenever they feature Atomic Kitten they are singing Whole Again (other than The Tide is High which they had on briefly last night)

:ne: 79 Natasha Bedingfield - Unwritten

:ne: 95 OutKast - Roses

Two brilliant songs!

Unwritten used to be on TV so much. It was like the Read All About It Part III of 2004-2006.

Sorry if it has been already answered, but I missed it, why is Christina Perri back? DVD release of Twilight?
:ne: 79 Natasha Bedingfield - Unwritten

Amazing

Has it been performed anywhere?

will.i.am's new song with Justin Bieber has just been premiered on Capital FM I believe (how many of his singles have they premiered now?).

I don't think it's going to be as big as Scream & Shout obviously. It'll be up for download at the latest in a couple of weeks because his album is out soon.

Maybe an on air/ on sale release for it - so next week anyone :D

Oh My God they were the two songs I was gonna quote too. :D

'Unwritten' was so overexposed at the time but, unlike RAAI, it never became boring. I remember in 2005, it was 'Unwritten', 'Bad Day' and 'Don't Cha' that were the radio staples.

Love the 'Roses' entry too.

I really wish 'Dirrty' by Christina Aguilera was made 59p and returned to the top 40. Hearing that on the chart again would be sublime.

Yeah I really dont know how they decide tbh, like will we ever hear from the likes of Aloe Blacc, Alex Clare, Carly Jae, Gotye? Artists who had such huge songs then the next song completely ignored? Can be bizarre..

The difference with Gotye etc is that they might have only had one massive hit (so far) but these songs were MASSIVE and near enough era defining. Why should radio playlist a song just because its by the beautiful Nicole if its just another average pop song.

At the end of the day shes had decent video airplay and was on britains biggest talk show on saturday night the day before the single release. if the song had been any good radio would have jumped on board too in the end as usual with these pop stars it was all image no substance!!

Well, the featured artist isn't likely to induce me to buy it, *this* time...

lol. Hopefully his next single will be a Nicole or Cheryl or 2NE1 collab then. He needs your extra sale!

I really hope Icona Pop exceed expectations and completely smash with 'I Love It' next week. I can't believe UK tv/radio have snubbed it despite it being a global hit and it's also becoming a hit in America! Sometimes it makes me ashamed to be British. :(

To be honest though radio can support average songs, they do every week.

Also the radio can ignore great songs, we've seen so many times in the past where good songs are disregarded by the radio.

With the Nicole case, I'm not actually that surprised Boomerang hasn't had that much radio support. I think it's doing really well considering the situation. She's never had a huge selling solo album or single if i remember correctly? (I know she's had a few hits but any selling over 500,000?) She isn't up there with the 'elite' female artists.

Tbf Nicole has never really had much success in the UK with radio if you think about it. 'Poison' was only really relying on the XF performance, 'Right There' only went top 3 (and top 10) due to her BGT performance and 'Try With Me' only did something because of another XF performance. 'Wet' did okay for a fourth single but DHYB is her only hit that got to where it was on merit rather than a high-profile performance - besides 'Boomerang'.

Tbf though, the same can be said for Leona these days. Oh LeLe. :(

Its not out next week, it was pushed back to June

Ahh what? Maybe it has hope of being a hit then once it smashes in America.

Ha Nicole down to #10  looking more likely #6 to #8 in the official chart come Sunday. How the mighty has fallen.
