I doubt that One Direction will hold up well enough over the week to be next week's #1. But we'll see! :D

 

It's stabilising even now, I expect it to start dropping later today.

Most people who were prompted to buy it due to Comic Relief will have

bought it on the night or will do so today when the event is still fresh in their minds.

 

I'd say no chance of no.1 next week or anyway near.

In fact I expect it to start falling at a 'comical' rate early next week :)

I just checked... Mirrors had more than 50-60% lead over 1D and more than 35% ALL week... so a 30-40% lead over 1 day isn't gonna be enough for them...

I missed this on Comic Relief so just YouTube'd it. Excellent choice of single from Peter Kay, one of my fave UK #2 singles of all time. Would be incredible if this did get to no. 1 but I doubt it realistically has that much of a chance.

 

 

And the Peter Kay single is not a cover version, he is doing naff all, its actually a re-release of the James hit for Comic Relief featuring Peter Kay. All the sales are donated to Comic Relief, my guess this will be a separate version, basically its a re-recording of the original for Comic Relief, mind you it sounds like the original.

 

 

So it's basically just the original song with Peter Kay miming over it? They did that with Amarillo as well, at least we'll get to hear the original instead of Peter's voice. :D

On the One Direction subject, I highly doubt they'll stay at #1 if I remember rightly they fell to #3 on release week.

 

Most they're sales will account for this week also, so the majority of sales will be dead in terms of next weeks sales.

 

I still reckon Mirrors will remain at #1 next week, with The Sats at #2.
