I'm sure you were in your 30s when they were originally around and successful?

lol @ Ant & Dec heading for the iTunes #1, WORDS DECEIVE.

The Saturdays will probably stay there officially though

I will KILL MYSELF in the unlikely event of PJ & Duncan holding on all week and taking the #1 from What About Us :manson:[/missingyou]

But in seriousness, I don't mind P!nk, The Sats or JT getting it this week, although I'd prefer WAU again. I just can't see anything in Let's Get Ready To Rumble as I said earlier.

They actually had a lot more hits as PJ & Duncan than they did as Ant & Dec
Let's Get Ready To Rumble is DIABOLICAL. :puke: I was listening to it earlier and it just sounds like an inferior version of Kriss Kross' Jump ().

Don't get so bloomin' over dramatic. Suicide is a very painful topic to a number of people, not one to make light of in a music forum post.

When you know who it is singing on it, does it surprise you that it's that bad of a song?

Fine, He wil LICK HIMSELF/HERSELF then

Oh come on, 'Let's Get Ready To Rumble' is genius in a novelty track kinda way. I certainly wouldn't moan if it did end up no. 1 officially. Besides, there's a good chance that one of Will.I.Am feat. Justin Bieber or Duke Dumont could get released earlier than scheduled so who knows how the top 5 will be looking this time next week.

He was just using hyperbole and he probably knows that it is a painful topic as well.

I previewed some of them out of intrigue and well, there are no words. 'Tonight (I'm Free)' sounds horrendous. The only other Ant & Dec single that I thought was ok was 'When I Fall In Love' - no doubt if that had been released by The Wanted in 2011 it would've probably been a #1 contender.

When I Fall In Love was excellent and We're On The Ball wasn't bad for a football song! Absolutely AMAZED that Let's Get Ready To Rumble is heading to #1 on iTunes though :o
Why has Let's Get Ready to Rumble even climbed?!

Ant & Dec's Saturday Takeaway show, they performed it at the end of the show.

Who would have thought PJ & Duncan would get a #1 on itunes.

Actually I struggled to find them in the Virgin Book of Hit Singles under PJ & Duncan, I had to look under Ant & Dec, voila I found the track.

As I mentioned in reply to Robadonna at the start of the thread, had there been iTunes in 2001 (with downloads being as popular as they are now) then PJ & Duncan would've been heading to #1 in 2001 after they performed it on CD:UK. It's only taken another 12 years to actually make it possible.
I love What About Us but Let's Get Ready To Rumble for number one this week.
