An opinion cannot be wrong

what if the opinion is racist/homophobic/sexist/xenophobic?

 9. Need U (100%) [feat. A*M*E] [Radio Edit] - Duke Dumont

 31. Need U (100%) [feat. A*M*E] - Duke Dumont

 58. Hold Me - Tom Odell

Like I predicted the other day Duke Dumont isn't getting to #1 particularly quickly but still 100% (no pun intended) certain he will get there.

Oh and '22' kicked back out of the top 10 :cheer: Bublé to further keep it out please. I think I heard that Tom Odell song the other day and wasn't particularly impressed, 'Can't Pretend' is much better.

What about that song she released a few years ago that goes "duh duh duh duh" for 4 minutes straight? :drama:

REVOLUTIONARY piece of pop music right here. So creative this song.

Eric I normally agree with your opinions but 'Disturbia' is one of Rihanna's best! Not for the instrumental, but the melody, vocal and lyrics.

It's technically still not wrong. It's morally wrong and ignorant though.

Gotta say I'm surprised that Duke's EP is not Number 1 despite it being in the Top 100 consistently on pre-orders for the past 6 weeks or so, but I'm sure it will go to Number 1 by this evening at e very latest.

An opinion is a self-held belief based on the ideologies of the individual expressing it "Women should stay in the kitchen" is an opinion of the person who believes it. The opinion of the person is never wrong because its what they believe. "Women should stay in the kitchen" is an opinion because the fact is women can go wherever they please. To say women should stay in the kitchen is a fact is wrong, but stated as an opinion is fine, as defined by opinion.

Its a lousy opinion though, but that is not fact and just an opinion which is disagreeable.

Come on Tom!

Found it odd that the majority of his recent live performances were for "Another Love" or "Can't Pretend", he should've invested more effort into plugging "Hold Me". I guess it just goes to show he's not that concerned with chart positions etc. Hoping his album (now pushed back until June) can be a big seller.

Kworb update (combined) -(not certain this is mathematically correct, but it won't be far off)

1.0000 - P!nk

0.9659 - PJ & Duncan

0.7738 - The Saturdays

0.7227 - Bastille (:o)

0.7198 - Justin Timberlake

0.7072 - Duke Dumont

Can't see Need U taking the combined #1 until tomorrow at least (the EP sales help as well though). But as long as it gets there, THAT'S ALL I CARE ABOUT :cheer:

Edited by SevenSeize

I think Duke Dumont will take combined #1 by tonight, maybe won't overtake PJ & Duncan until tomorrow though now #2 is only selling 75% of them again (really surprised how big a boost this has been given, looks like it could spend a second week in the top 5 at least although it should plummet next week unless they plug it endlessly on Takeaway again).

Really really got my fingers crossed for PJ & Duncan today :P

Bastille getting that longevity! 10 weeks in the top 10 for 'Pompeii' possibly?

Edited by Brè

I wasn't expecting Buble's single to do well, but I suppose, when you think about it, it's not that surprising. Obviously he's hugely skewed to being an album artist, and his post-album singles will never do anything, but for now you can only get this single (legally) by buying it individually so it's hardly surprising that he has enough avid fans to do it. I mean, 'Haven't Met You Yet' was a comfortable top 10 hit, and his status has only grown since then.

The Sats have another version at #56 which pushes them up to 0.8077

The Sats have another version at #56 which pushes them up to 0.8077

That's a proportion of PJ & Duncan. Seven is posting a proportion of P!nk (the combined #1).

im expecting saturdays to stick at #3 in the official chart next week. worst case scenario they could be #5. never thought that'd happen!
