If someone sends Heart Attack, Just Give Me A Reason, What About Us or anything like that I would delete them out of contention for points straight away. Sending a big hit achieves absolutely nothing and I'm sure there will be good inspired songs clamouring for my points like there are every month.

Although if one person does end up doing that it would be tres amusing if everyone followed my example and it DNQed. Less so if people made it win.

WHAT ABOUT US IS NOT A BIG HIT.

I can see a lot of people trying to send Demi Lovato, her new album is out in time for the next bjsc. The new Saturdays single will be on Radio next month. Urgh, this contest is going to be so cheap!

I just hope everyone plays fairly and doesn't try and take advantage of the situation, and by the looks of things it's not going to benefit them at all if they choose to do so!
I do think we'll end up with a decent mix, I have no doubt some people will take advantage/take the piss but I think enough people respect the competition enough to treat is as a normal month.
I already know my entry, I've been wanting to send it for the last two months but have been afraid it will get veto'd. It's on like no iTunes though. I guess it could still be considered as kinda cheap.
I'll be so obsessed with Demi's album I'll probably think about sending her but I wouldn't want to make a mockery of the competition just because the rules are gone for a month.
Who ISN'T going to reap the benefit of this contest and treat it like a normal contest would surely be a better question at this point?

ME!

Me too! To be honest I'm always very scared if my song turns out to be very popular already even despite not being vetoed (see Gold Fields - Dark again; so happy it flopped!). My only wish is to bring you something most of you haven't heard of.
In a regular month I'll vote for anything that gets past the veto on its own merits, regardless of how inspired it is. This month however, anything I think is too cheap will not be getting points from me, even if it's a pop classic.
Guys, it's only the veto process which is being removed pretty sure the general rules (songs on radio playlist/AF singles etc... (? - is that one? I cant remember) will still apply. So The Sats new single will be ineligable, anyway. Demi just depends on being playlisted via Radio 1 or Capital at the time.

The Veto is the only rule for entries, when we brought it in we scrubbed the rest so there are no restrictions aside from the ones that have been constant: No ESC/Covers/Past Entries/LIII Top3/Repeat Artists.

Trusting people to self moderate.
