May 9, 201312 yr Very interesting bunch. I think Uzma is the dark horse! All of the ladies are VERY feisty this series. I can see a lot of boardroom bitchiness going on this year!
May 9, 201312 yr The difference was that they were about to accept £80 while Jason offered £75, which they would obviously accept! £5 difference or not, they still had the task in the bag.
May 10, 201312 yr The difference was that they were about to accept £80 while Jason offered £75, which they would obviously accept! To me, as I was watching the episode, it looked like they were debating and clearly didn't want to go for the £80. I still think Jason did the right thing because as Calum said, I'd be more inclined to say they were about to lose the deal. Anyway, I didn't think it was fair for Alex and Zee to speak to Jason the way they did though (as much as it was "good tv"). It was borderline bullying and harassment.

I think it's very easy to edit to scene to make it look like the deal at £80 was about to be sealed when in fact it wasn't, which is why Jason would have wanted to step in and drop the offer. Who knows what the case really was though.
May 15, 201312 yr I'm only watching this tonight for Luisa. SO ADORABLE. And yes, she's the woman in my avatar! :D Edited May 15, 201312 yr by Griff
May 15, 201312 yr Right decision. Sophie was strong but far too quiet and was clearly not going to fight for her position when it mattered. Uzma proving them haters wrong again :D
May 15, 201312 yr Sophie was strong but far too quiet and was clearly not going to fight for her position when it mattered. I think that Sophie was one of the best because she was above all of the bitching. But I agree, she wasn't very good at business. :(
May 15, 201312 yr I don't really agree with that decision - but she won't really be missed. In my eyes, Uzma should've gone as the design was the biggest downfall - and she was practically 100% came up with the design herself. I'm not really warming to anyone this series yet, but I did like the posh bloke who was like 'NO MOVE YOU'RE NOT AVERAGE SIZED'.
May 15, 201312 yr Sophie wasn't really one of the show's main personalities, but she was MUCH better than Umza - who is nothing but an utter bitch. Sick fed up of seeing her. My favourites at the moment are Natalie, Luisa, Jason and Jordan. <3
May 15, 201312 yr Lusia is so fit. Uzma was kept purely because she's different. The design/creative people are usually in short supply, usually the candidates are filled of glorified sales people. She should have gone based on the task, but I suspect she was kept because Lord Sugar likes her kind. Sophie was boring, and dull. Probably a joint Lord Sugar/producer decision to fire her. One wrong move by Uzma though and I suspect she'll be kicked out of the boardroom very quickly!

I really like her, though, so here's hoping.
May 16, 201312 yr I hope Natalie ups her game next week, because Alan didn't seem impressed with her. I really like her, though, so here's hoping. Well they're mixing the teams next week by the look of it. I'm sure one of the boys will get fired. The girls are pretty weak, but Lusia will Leah will undoubtedly make it almost to the final for the fact they personify the modern businesswoman. They were a few hints tonight about the weaknesses of some of the boys, which Lord Sugar will no doubt have picked up on.

Mixing the teams has to ensure one of the boys go out (or Uzma - whatever IT is ), preferably Zee. She is, although I think that Natalie's fitter at the moment. I agree. May 16, 201312 yr I did like Sophie (fittest girl there easily) but she was not fighting for it at all. :( Uzma is a joy to watch, really, she is excellent in the boardroom and I hope she stays for as long as possible so we get more of her ridiculousness.

Uzma seemed quite frightened of Natalie last night, TBH. Like, she wanted to prove herself, and wanted to be as bitchy as she could, but she looked quite intimidated. Not saying Natalie wasn't though, because when she was in the boardroom she looked like she was close to tears, what a shame for her though.
May 16, 201312 yr Can't get over how shit the girls product was, one of the worst I've ever seen :o it could pretty much serve as a toilet on wheels  Sophie seemed to not be making an impact at all, so no bad news. I'm warming slightly to Uzma and her owl eyes, she certainly knows how to put up a fight.
May 17, 201312 yr Author I felt so bad for the girls - they were clearly doomed from the off, but their pitch to Argos was great, so I'm sure with a better product they'd have won (and it shows that they're not completely useless!) Sophie was the right decision to go - she's done nothing of note thus far. Leah is by far my favourite, she's fab! I'm actually rather liking Alex too. Despise Jason still.
May 17, 201312 yr Luisa is a peng ting! I hope she stays for long just for her looks Edit: Post #2000 for me  Edited May 17, 201312 yr by Det fornuftige
