On an unrelated note, how come Daft Punk's album is already available to buy in other countries iTunes stores, but not on UK iTunes? I know Ireland generally get everything released on Friday. I know it's been mentioned before but they really should allow albums to be released on Sunday's now we're fully into the digital age. It's a weekend, so more people are likely to be at home and I'm convinced it'd boost first week sales of an album. Sunday sales are usually vital for a track's performance in the singles chart so albums should get released on Sundays too imo.

Well I'm happy for Naughty Boy and Sam Smith. :D

I wouldn't mind if it went to #1 any other week, but I'm pretty annoyed that it's going to be the song that will knock off the best song since Paradise (in my opinion) from the top spot.

'La La La' was always going to do well as it was as high as #10 iirc on pre-orders. The song is ok but nothing fantastic, imo, although I'm sure there are people out there who probably prefer 'La La La' to 'Get Lucky'. It's just a shame that 'La La La' is a bonafide one week wonder in the making and I just don't see it having a long chart run. 'So Good To Me' seemed to have potential based on its pre-orders yet it's already down 02-07 in the UK charts.
This is probably the best update in iTunes history.
Sorry, but it's nowhere NEAR touching...

Nah, this one was MUCH better:

Naughty Boys song really doesnt sound like a #01 at all.

This is what I'm thinking as well.

THIS. Euphoria was good, but Feel The Love was so much BETTER.

This. If it gets to #1 I can see it having a 1-2-6-8-14-17-25-32-31-38 run whereas Daft Punk's chart run could possibly be 3-1-1-1-1-1-2-4-4-7-10-12-11-etc.

La La La is an alright song, it doesn't deserve all of this hate.

Will.I.Am is dropping hard which is a shame, I like the song

I agree, although I love it and I'm happy it has a chance to get there.

I agree, but if you're one of those people that only wants songs with long chart runs to get #1, then we'll spend nearly all year round with adult contemporary/pop songs at #1. You get the occasional song like Pass Out, Feel the Love, Thrift Shop that have very long chart runs, but they're very rare, everything else that does is MOR stuff like Just Give Me a Reason, etc.

I agree that it's alright, it's just that Get Lucky is much better which is why I don't want NB at #1

I disagree about Naughty Boy being a one week wonder - its clearly gonna open on 100k+ on its opening week regardless of where it charts, and its overcome what is undoubtedly the biggest hit of the year so far when it still had something like a 40-50% lead. Demi & Chris Malinchak were simply not popular enough and it remains to be seen what their chart runs wil be like.

I don't think Naughty Boy nor Sam Smith are big enough to sell on name alone before plummeting, there's clearly a lot of public interest in this so I can't see it just bombing down afterwards (though I do expect Get Lucky to re-overtake at some point)

I concur.

Naughty Boy will obviously only have #1 but I don't think it's going to have a really short chart run. Could see it doing similarly to 'Waiting All Night'.

This sould be No.1 instead of this terrible song..

2013 has had some absolutely brilliant #1s already: Duke Dumont, Rudimental, Daft Punk and now Naughty Boy (I hope). While I agree "La La La" doesn't 'sound' like a number 1, it's certainly unique/refreshing enough to have generated this much interest already. Can't wait to see what Naughty Boy produces next!

Was there any need in this comment? No.

Stop getting involved with matters that have nothing to do with you, if you had any sense of sense you would know that Shadow is joking.
