Album chart revealed.

I'm really surprised Texas debuted as high as #4 and... well, Demi only ended up scraping the top 10 by the skin of its teeth in the end. :o

15 :ne: Emmelie De Forest - Only Teardrops [D]

Didn't care much for this Eurovison Winner. But look at the bright spot, Next year will be the 40th anniversary of Abba's win at the event with "Waterloo"

Complaining to the BBC over lack of chart show this week.

I complained a couple of years ago but not because of the lack of chart during the teen awards but more because it was not replaced by live coverage and instead a 20 min interview with Christina Perri followed by playing her non-charting song. A performance would have been fine but it wasn't even that. They just told me that other people would like the show the way it was and my opinion didn't really matter. If that's tge response I got, you won't do any better.

Awful #1 this week. Sam Smith's vocals are nice enough but the chorus and la la la bits are annoying as.

Ha! I agree with you, Sam Smith's vocals are brilliant but the hook is so IRRITATING.

I love it - very 90s (in a good way).

What's the point

Excellent taste squire!

I want to like it as it sounds kind of Massive Attack-esque musically... Then that hideous chorus creeps in and it simply has to be muted.

'La La La' may already be one of my favourite songs of 2013, anticipating Sam Smith's debut album :D

I think it appeals to me as it really has a mid/late 90s dance vibe (plus the hook is oddly not irritating to me at all). I find Olly Murs' Dear Darlin' more Massive Attack-y than this at the moment!

What's a squire? That's a reference that really has gone over my head. :P

Although the chorus is alright actually!

Both of them sound very Massive Attack-y. I've wished for this sound to come back in a big way for ages, so happy it seems to possibly finally be happening
